Job purpose

The Wave Planner &amp; Invoice Coordinator supports both warehouse operations and logistics administration by planning and releasing order waves, coordinating shipping activities, and processing invoices and documentation. This role ensures efficient workflow across picking, packing, receiving, and shipping while supporting invoice accuracy, routing, billing activities, and customer service needs. The position promotes the company&rsquo;s core values, fosters strong internal and external relationships, and assists with daily operational and administrative tasks to meet business and customer demands

Duties and responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Plans, organizes, and releases order waves based on priority, shipping deadlines, and product</li>
<li>availability.</li>
<li>Assigns and monitors wave times, staging locations, and pick assignments to maintain balanced</li>
<li>workflow across warehouse teams.</li>
<li>Processes, routes, and reviews invoices for Sales Orders; ensures accuracy and resolves</li>
<li>discrepancies.</li>
<li>Handles freight bills, direct billing activities, and damage claim documentation.</li>
<li>Prepares trailer loading reports; reviews inbound and outbound paperwork and ensures accurate</li>
<li>load closure.</li>
<li>Monitors wave progress, identifies bottlenecks, and makes real-time workflow adjustments to</li>
<li>maintain productivity.</li>
<li>Communicates daily workload priorities with warehouse supervisors, logistics teams, and inventory</li>
<li>control.</li>
<li>Assists Sales team with order printing, processing, and inventory-related inquiries.</li>
<li>Uses Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other software to manage waves, track order</li>
<li>status, support billing functions, and process documentation.</li>
<li>Addresses pick issues, allocation errors, invoice questions, and order-related discrepancies.</li>
<li>Escalates system, billing, or workflow issues promptly to minimize operational disruption.</li>
<li>Supports a safe and organized work environment and follows all safety practices.</li>
<li>Maintains a focus on continuous learning and development for self and team.</li>
<li>Demonstrates a commitment to C&amp;F Enterprises, Inc. core values.</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>A high school diploma and/or equivalent experience</li>
<li>1-2 years or more years in warehouse management systems, preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of warehouse logistics and shipping, preferred</li>
<li>Must have strong computer and data entry skills</li>
<li>Must have excellent customer service, both written and verbal skills</li>
<li>Must be strongly proficient in Microsoft Windows and Excel</li>
<li>Must have the ability to learn new software programs</li>
<li>Must have the ability to produce significant volume and work independently</li>
</ul>
Physical requirements

</li><li>Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling)
