JOB SUMMARY:
As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications that deliver an exceptional user experience. Your expertise will span both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration and performance across the entire stack. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions that are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
Note: This position is located in Livonia, Michigan, and requires candidates to work on-site in the office from Monday to Thursday with Fridays being remote work from home days.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.</li><li>
Possess expert level in both modern frontend AND backend technologies</li><li>
Implement user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.</li><li>
Develop server-side logic using languages like C# or Java, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components.</li><li>
Champion best practices in software design, development, and deployment.</li><li>
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.</li><li>
Actively participate in internal initiatives to modernize our tech stack and development practices.</li></ul>
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:<ul><li>
Technical Skills:<ul><li>
Possess expert level in both modern frontend AND backend technologies</li><li>
Deep proficiency in back-end development using the .NET Core framework.</li><li>
Deep proficiency in modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular.</li><li>
Understanding of Azure PaaS services with the ability to help design cloud-native workloads.</li><li>
Familiarity with database design and management for both SQL and NoSQL databases.</li><li>
Solid understanding of API development and integration, including RESTful and GraphQL.</li><li>
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.</li></ul></li><li>
Soft Skills:<ul><li>
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.</li><li>
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>
Demonstrated mentoring and guiding junior developers.</li></ul></li></ul>
Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:<ul><li>
Strong understanding of event-driven and microservices architectures.</li><li>
Experience implementing solutions using software design patterns.</li><li>
Experience creating cloud-native technology solutions.</li><li>
Knowledge of web security best practices and performance optimization techniques.</li><li>
Proficient in agile development methodologies and tools.</li></ul>
Starting salary of $118,000 with potential for higher compensation based on experience.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
