Job Summary: 
Oversees, audits, validates, and inspects contractor field work/performance involving cable TV and fiber optic cable plant construction which includes directional drilling, placement of underground and aerial fiber optic and cable tv cable as well as hand holes splice enclosures grounding, bonding, and other construction practices consistent with engineering documents, permits, and designs. 
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Inspects fiber construction in accordance with acceptable industry standards.</li><li>
Accurately updates construction maps and systems with changes/additions and materials used consistently with established processes.</li><li>
Identifies and communicates construction issues, progress, opportunities, etc. to management and design staff as needed.</li><li>
Maintains all record keeping in a timely and accurate fashion.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned by management and design staff.</li><li>
Writes technical reports or documentation.</li></ul>
Job Qualifications:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
2+ years of related experience preferred.</li><li>
Must be able to travel as needed to various project sites and markets, which may require long hours and flexibility in schedule.</li><li>
Ability to work long hours involving overtime and weekends, as necessary.</li><li>
Ability to respond to the needs of a 24/7/365 operation.</li><li>
Must be able to work emergency schedules during natural disasters and network outages.</li><li>
Individuals must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record meeting the company and insurance policy conditions.</li></ul>

Job Summary: 
Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs telecommunications equipment and fiber optic cable. 
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Tests circuits and components of malfunctioning telecommunications equipment to isolate the source of malfunctions, using various hand tools.</li><li>
Tests and repairs, newly installed, or updated equipment to ensure that it functions properly and conforms to specifications, using test equipment and observation.</li><li>
Drives crew trucks to and from work areas.</li><li>
Inspects equipment on a regular basis in order to ensure proper functioning.</li><li>
Repairs or replaces faulty equipment.</li><li>
Removes and remakes connections in order to change circuit layouts, following work orders or diagrams.</li><li>
Demonstrates equipment to customers and explains how it is to be used and responds to any inquiries or complaints.</li><li>
Analyzes test readings, computer printouts, and trouble reports to determine equipment repair needs and required repair methods.</li><li>
Adjusts or modifies equipment to enhance equipment performance or to respond to customer requests.</li></ul> 
Job Qualifications:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
2+ years of field experience as a telecommunications technician required.</li><li>
Working knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure required.</li><li>
Familiarity with fiber optic cable preferred.</li><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and a clean driving record.</li><li>
Travel will be required and may be up to 20%, depending on the business needs.</li><li>
Ability to work long hours involving overtime and weekends as necessary.</li><li>
Ability to respond to the needs of a 24/7/365 operation.</li><li>
