Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities:Production Supervisor - Overview: As a Production Supervisor in our packaging machine manufacturing company, you will play a critical role in overseeing the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will lead a team of production workers, manage resources effectively, and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and deadlines.Responsibilities:1. Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of production workers, including machine operators and assemblers, to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.&middot; Production Oversight: Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, efficiency targets, and safety regulations. Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maximize output. Understanding the production plan&middot; Allocating jobs&middot; Ensuring quality standards and design is followed&middot; Ensuring timely work from technicians&middot; Ensuring that there is no wastage on floor&middot; Cooperating and coordinating with all departments - mainly store, production, inspection and dispatch&middot; Reporting on daily basis regarding progress of production schedule2. Resource Management: Coordinate with the production planning team to allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet production targets and customer demands.3. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the production team.4. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high product quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality requirements.5. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct safety training sessions and promote awareness of safety practices to prevent accidents and injuries.6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control documentation. Generate performance reports and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.7. Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics, to coordinate production activities and resolve cross-functional issues. Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and team members to ensure alignment on production goals and priorities.8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within the production department. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.9. Problem Solving: Proactively address production challenges and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize disruptions and maintain production continuity.
