We have an opportunity for an Indirect Buyer to join the Team at our Fishers, Indiana facility. In this role you will be responsible for purchasing non-car related goods (indirect) and services for various stakeholders across the company. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. <li>
End to end purchase of indirect goods and services and proactive communication with all relevant stakeholders to achieve the most effective procurement</li>
<li>Prepare commercial specifications for proposal requests and arrange and facilitate meetings between stakeholders and suppliers when required</li>
<li>Request quotations and negotiate optimum value with suppliers and review proposals and provide summary documentation to stakeholders</li>
<li>Award orders with agreement from the relative stakeholders and manage all documentation for purchases including the raising of purchase orders</li>
<li>To report any delivery exceptions to stakeholders in a timely manner to manage expectations and liaise between suppliers and stakeholders to resolve any supply issues</li>
<li>Assist with invoice discrepancies when required and ensure compliance with purchasing and finance policies and develop a thorough working knowledge of the company&rsquo;s ERP system and contribute to its ongoing development</li>

Requirements

What do you need to bring to the team?<ul>
<li>
Must have CPSM qualification (Certified Professional in Supply Management)</li>
<li>Extensive experience of procurement in a fast-paced industry</li>
<li>Proven strong negotiation skills and previous ERP experience</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and suppliers and clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email</li>
<li>Previous experience of MS applications including Outlook, Excel, and Teams</li>
<li>Flexible attitude with the ability to work within a team in a high pressure rapidly changing environment and positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture</li></ul>
