Description<ul><li>
Provide technical support for Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs) and other training devices, including attending maintenance calls, device setup, conversions, demonstrations, simulator flight tests, and snag clearance activities.</li><li>
Independently perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs), Daily Readiness (DR), recurrent QTG runs, Aircraft Database (ADB) updates, and IOS Lesson Plan (LP) updates on training devices and associated systems, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with established standards.</li><li>
Ensure deficiencies identified during maintenance, readiness, or QTG activities are properly followed up, actioned, and closed within required timelines.</li><li>
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve training device issues, including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events and issues raised by National Aviation Authorities (NAAs).</li><li>

Monitor SimHub and SimIssues for updates and use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record, track, review, update, and monitor deficiencies and maintenance activities.</li><li>

As assigned, act in roles such as Shift Lead, Team Lead, Device Caretaker, or Task Caretaker, managing all aspects of the assigned role autonomously.</li><li>

Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>

FSTD Systems Support Engineer II

Part Time Phenom 300 Instructor Pilot

We&rsquo;re looking for a curious, hands-on Simulator Engineering Technician to join our team supporting UAV simulators. You&rsquo;ll learn how our training devices work end-to-end and build the practical skills to grow into a Simulator Engineer.
In this role, you&rsquo;ll help us deliver world-class simulator training by keeping devices reliable, safe, and ready for use. Your work directly supports training quality, efficiency, and readiness at our training centre.
This opportunity is ideal for recent Engineering graduates (or candidates with a technical diploma/qualification and some practical experience) who want a structured pathway into simulator engineering. The position is based in the Al Dhafra Region (remote from major centres), so you&rsquo;ll need a driving licence and be comfortable commuting or relocating closer to the airbase.
What you&rsquo;ll do<ul><li>

Summary

Summary
Rated Crew Member (AH64E Instructor Pilot) is responsible for monitoring the aircraft systems, diagnosing and eliminating any problems that may arise, and ensuring that all maintenance faults have been recorded and properly corrected. These duties will be performed day and night as well as under VMC and IMC.
This position supports the Army Advanced Helicopter Flight Training program conducted at Fort Rucker, Alabama, and includes both US Army students as well as a contingent of multinational students 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conducts pre-flight and in-flight briefings, and post-flight After Action Reviews</li><li>
Conducts logbook write-ups and maintenance as required</li></ul> 
Qualifications and Education Requirements<ul><li>
Previous designation as an AH64E Instructor Pilot</li><li>
Crew Member must have 5+ years
</li><li>Operational military experience in the AH64E aircraft</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required</li><li>
Must be able to work overtime as required</li><li>
Must be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required</li></ul> 
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Able to maintain the current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) third-class Medical Certificate or, if a member of the National Guard or Reserves, an Army 2992 FFD. 
Language Skills
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex aviation words and technical documents/diagrams. 
Mathematical Skills
Must be able to calculate figures and amounts, percentages, and draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. An ability to interpret students&rsquo; requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is essential. 
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection/usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for the proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside the company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.<ul><li>
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.</li></ul> 
Work Environment<ul><li>
Work in a regular office environment; communicate via personal computer, telephone, and fax</li><li>
Will be working in areas with risk of electrical shock from moving mechanical parts driven by hydraulics under high pressure</li><li>
Will at times be exposed to the following conditions: extreme heat, airborne particles, and loud noises consistent with an aviation facility, to include flight line operations</li></ul>
