<div><b>Purpose:
</b></div><div>Oversee all front-of-house operations to ensure extraordinary hospitality, efficient service flow, and a positive, professional work environment. Lead and develop the Front of House team to ensure the consistent execution of Alexandria Restaurant Partners (ARP) quality standards, operating systems, procedures, principles, values, mission, core values, and culture.
</div>Position Responsibilities: <b>People &amp; Leadership
</b><ul><li>With the GM, manage the hiring, supervision, and development of hourly staff. When necessary, assist with employee counseling and corrective action
</li><li>Teach and coach hourly staff on maintaining ARP's service, food, and beverage standards.
</li><li>Foster growth and internal mobility.
</li><li>Foster a culture of celebration and appreciation.
</li><li>Lead the focus on training at all levels to ensure we are achieving everyday high standards in the restaurants.
</li></ul><div><b>Operations
</b></div><ul><li>Execute ARPs operations vision and core principles.
</li><li>Set and enhance operational standards and processes.
</li><li>Manage day-to-day fires related to the facility, people, and equipment.
</li><li>Ensure elevated food and beverage quality and consistency.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Qualifications -
<ul><li>Minimum 1 to 3 years in full-service, high-volume restaurants or hospitality businesses.
</li><li>Results and detail-oriented.
</li><li>Clear and respectful communication style.</li><li>
Management style is personable and approachable.
</li><li>Ability to manage and resolve conflicts and difficult situations effectively.
</li><li>Adaptable, able to change priorities and manage workloads with minimal direction.
</li><li>Flexibility to assume the roles of individual contributor, team player, and leader simultaneously.
</li><li>Upholds a proactive approach that anticipates future needs.
</li><li>Expert-level follow-through skills.
</li></ul>Physical Requirements:
<ul><li>Able to work 10-hour plus shifts.
</li><li>Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
</li><li>Able to grasp, lift, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.
</li><li>Able to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam, and heat.
</li><li>Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery and knives.
</li><li>Able to work in a confined area.
</li><li>Must possess hearing, visual, and sensory abilities to observe and detect emergencies; and to distinguish product, taste, texture, temperature, presentation, and preparation.
