<div><b>Position summary: </b>The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Mechanic will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness and reliability.<br>

Responsibilities</b></h2>
<div><b>Essential functions and responsibilities:</b><br>
<ul><li>
Support maintenance manager with technical assessments, advice, and hands on repairs and troubleshooting.</li><li>
Provide technical expertise to Maintenance Technicians.</li><li>
Modify and design control circuitry for existing equipment.</li><li>
Perform maintenance procedure to AC/DC control circuitry, programmable logic controllers, microprocessor controls, and power distribution systems and make improvements to the PM program.</li></ul><ul><li>
Perform work safely and in a timely manner.</li><li>
Always maintain an orderly and sanitary work area.</li></ul>
 Provide feedback for engineers to help modify existing equipment and improve the design of future equipment.<br>
<ul><li>
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.</li><li>
Be available to work overtime per departmental needs, off shifts and weekends.</li><li>
Ability to climb up and down ladders and traverse walkways.</li><li>
Ability to work in production environment.</li><li>
Program PLC&rsquo;s; specifically in relation to Allen Bradley equipment.</li><li>
Program HMI modules.</li></ul><ul><li>
Design and construct Electrical control panels.</li><li>
Accurately completes required reports and records.</li><li>
Respond to trouble calls quickly.</li><li>
Report all equipment failures to appropriate supervisors in writing and verbally.</li><li>
Prepare, read, write, and understand routine reports and correspondence.</li><li>
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated high speed production equipment.</li><li>
Utilize CMMS too accurately and thoroughly document and track all corrective and preventive maintenance activities.</li><li>
Drive company goals and objectives through assigned projects and continuous improvement activities.</li><li>
Participate and contribute within the plant team including attending team meetings and shift handovers.</li><li>
Comply with all safety standards and regulations provided by the company and government (LOTO, Work Permits, etc...).</li><li>
Adhere to all GMP&rsquo;s and SOP&rsquo;s in all areas.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.</li></ul><ul><li><b><br>

Skills &amp; Qualifications</b></h2>
<div><b>Qualifications required:</b><br>
<ul><li>
5-10 years of job-related experience.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret machine manuals/schematics, electrical blueprints/schematics, and process control diagrams.</li><li>
Experience writing and troubleshooting ladder logic.</li><li>
Experience troubleshooting and installing 480V electric motor wiring and 120V and 24V DC motor control circuits</li><li>
Experience troubleshooting and programming VFD</li><li>
Must have working knowledge of RS Logix and/or C Logix as well as SLC/Micro Logix programming platforms.</li><li>
Highly effective in interpreting and understanding the fault readings on controllers, PLC&rsquo;s, and variable frequency drives, and taking appropriate corrective actions.</li></ul><b>
Qualifications desired:
</b><br>
Experience with Allen Bradley RS Logix, ControlLogix, and PowerFlex VFD<br>
Use of precision measurement tools.<br>
Mechanical installation and alignment techniques (motor/gearbox, pumps, sprockets, sheaves).<br>
In-depth understanding of pneumatics and hydraulic systems.<br>
Proficient in the use and understanding of mills, lathes, and drill presses.<br>
Knowledge and experienced with servo systems.<br>

Knowledge and experience with the installation, calibration and maintenance of processes and analytical instrumentation.</li><li>
Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office product.</li></ul><p><b>
Physical demands and work environment:
</b></p><ul><li>Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use hands to finger, grasp, or feel objects, talk or communicate, hear, and visually inspect areas to be cleaned.</li><li>
Work environment: Medium work exerting up to 50lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20lbs. of force constantly to move objects.</li><li>
Both inside and outside environmental conditions: Activities occur in coolers and freezers during shift. Exposure to cold and freezing temperatures in the coolers and freezers areas. Exposure to high heat while in the warehouse, especially during summer months.</li><li>
Noise: There is enough noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.</li><li>
Hazard: Includes a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.</li><li>
Oils: There is a risk of exposure to oils and other fluids to include Glycol and Ammonia.</li></ul></div></div>

Maintenance Technician IV, V, -1st /3rd shift -Marion, IN

<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Job Description</b></h2>
<div>The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities of an assigned work team on a shift basis by directing assigned associates in the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of customer product in a manner consistent with service and cost objectives. The Warehouse Lead for Caf&eacute; Valley will work with Warehouse Manager to determine needs for the department and resolve discrepancies/issues. The Warehouse Lead will also manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor as necessary.<br>

Enforce food safety, GMPs, and company policy with team members assigned to their line.</li><li>
Perform detailed cycle counts researching all variances; identify exceptions and drops. Interact with warehouse manager to resolve discrepancies/issues.</li><li>
Control movements from the warehouse to the production floor so that inventory standards are met and exceeded.</li><li>
Delegate the distribution of work orders for the warehouse.</li><li>
Ensure accurate and timely unloading of raw materials and packaging/inbound materials based on purchase order information. This includes appropriate put-a-way, documentation of any damages or incorrect items, etc.</li><li>
Ensure accurate and timely loading of all finished goods/outbound materials. This includes ensuring FIFO is followed, accurate counts, no damages, etc.</li><li>
Maintain accurate inventory counts in all warehouses.</li><li>
Accurately attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.</li><li>
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.</li><li>
Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.</li><li>
Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.</li><li>
Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo and guide loads.</li><li>
Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes (not including computers or vehicles).</li><li>
Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts or passenger vehicles.</li><li>
Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.</li><li>
Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.</li><li>
Supervise dock personnel in the daily routine of loading/unloading of trucks with adherence to all required dock safety procedures.</li><li>
Prepare work orders for and coordinate repairs of trucks, trailers, forklifts, dock plates, and dock doors.</li><li>
Coordinate the delivery of customer orders efficiently, accurately and timely.</li><li>
Keep upper management informed of concerns or situations that may affect the performance of shipping department.</li><li>
Provides leadership and coaching to ensure that projects are completed on time and that the team provides value to our customers, both internal and external.</li><li>
Conduct consistent Production/Safety meetings with departmental personnel.</li><li>
Adheres to daily production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery and service goals.</li><li>
Develop strong rapport with various freight lines.</li><li>
Implement, maintain, and support all company policies and procedures, safety program, and good housekeeping.</li><li>
Coordinate with 3rd party freight providers to schedule runs in the most cost-efficient and timesaving manner possible.</li><li>
Ability to administer and document personnel issues for temporary and full-time regular employees both effectively and accurately.</li><li>
Enforce progressive discipline when applicable and conduct meetings with any violating employees.</li><li>
Implement department SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and ensure employees are properly trained in accordance to required guidelines.</li><li>
Other projects and duties as assigned or as our customers&rsquo; needs change.</li></ul></div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Skills &amp; Qualifications</b></h2>
<div><b>Qualifications required:</b><br>
HS Diploma, Associates Degree Preferred<br>
3+ years supervisory or Warehouse experience or a minimum 5 years of Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving experience.<br>
Valid Driver&rsquo;s License<br>
Ability to pass and receive Forklift License with Caf&eacute; Valley.<br>
Adequate computer/data entry knowledge<br>
