Caf&eacute; Yumm! has an opening for a full-time salaried Restaurant Manager at one of our locations in the Eugene/Springfield area. Interviews will be held at Cafe Yumm! Delta on Green Acres Rd near Delta Highway in Eugene, OR.

The Restaurant Manager provides restaurant management services with the highest standards in safety, service, cleanliness, food preparation, and food presentation. This position is integral to the smooth and profitable operation of the restaurant.

Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Display a high degree of competency and ability to train others on all stations in the restaurant: cashier, deluxe bar, dishwasher, expeditor, food preparation, grill/salads, starts/hot bar.
</li><li>Order, receive, and account for food, equipment, and supplies.</li><li>
Count cash drawers, maintain safe, and run bank deposits.</li><li>
Interview, hire, train, develop, counsel, and when necessary, discipline, and terminate Team Members.
</li><li>Investigate and resolve guest complaints.</li><li>
Drive sales and profitability of the restaurant.</li><li>
Manage key indicators of profitability including labor, COGS, supplies, speed of service, etc.
</li><li>Maintain team member schedules, timecards, break compliance, etc. Arrange shift coverage or fill in when needed.</li></ul>
Job Requirements:<ul><li>
18 years of age or older.</li><li>
Available to work any shift, including days, evenings, and weekends.</li><li>
Available to work long hours if necessary &ndash; 8 to 12 hours a day, 45 hours per week, sometimes 7 days a week.</li><li>
Attention to detail.</li><li>
Customer service, leadership, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Prioritization, time management, organizational, problem prevention, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Proficient use of personal computer and Microsoft Office.
</li><li>Sufficient command of the English language to be able to order and receive product, check product against a delivery sheet or an order sheet, communicate orders to others, and read and understand the POS system.</li></ul>
Your Education and Experience:<ul><li>
Possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon Food Handler&rsquo;s Permit.</li><li>
Possess a valid State-issued driver&rsquo;s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record pursuant to company policies.</li><li>
Possess or be able to obtain a ServSafe Food Manager Certificate.</li><li>
Associate degree and equivalent related experience or substantial experience within the restaurant industry is required. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree is preferred.</li><li>
At least three (3) years in the restaurant industry, holding more positions with greater responsibility, including at least one (1) year of management or supervisory experience</li></ul>
