The Material Controller must be knowledgeable of maintenance and construction materials. Will need knowledge of computer equipment, where applicable. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Order materials when required</li><li>
Schedule equipment through proper protocol</li><li>
Set up, charge, all work orders and account numbers</li><li>
Receive, inspect, help unload and distribute materials/equipment received</li><li>
Set up and maintain inventory system and reordering</li><li>
Assist contract supervision upon request</li><li>
Assist in the field when needed</li><li>
Maintain file system and cross-reference book</li><li>
Attain proper accounting documents for all work order numbers monthly</li><li>
Assist operator with orders when requested</li><li>
Locate specialty equipment such as transition pieces, check valves, etc.</li><li>
Load and unload equipment and materials</li></ul><div><b>
Qualifications</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
 Physical
</b></div><ul><li>Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds</li><li>
Regularly required to talk or hear</li><li>
Frequently required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms</li><li>
Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms</li><li>
Occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, use hands and fingers to handle and feel</li><li>
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus</li><li>
Will need to perform sedentary to heavy work</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Must have the ability to direct others and communicate effectively with other management/ supervision</li><li>

The Finisher must have strong basic knowledge of pouring, leveling, forming, troweling, troweling machine for finishing, and concrete. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Place, finish, protect, and repair concrete for projects</li><li>
Place and spread concrete using various tools and level/float the surface</li><li>
Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation</li><li>
Understand the purpose and proper technique for vibrating concrete</li><li>
Assist other craft workers as needed</li></ul><div><b>

Physical</b></div><ul><li>
Must be able to push/pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs., but may occasionally push/pull, lift, or carry up to 100 lbs.</li><li>
Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms, and legs</li><li>
Hand/eye coordination</li><li>
Must be able to communicate (hear, comprehend, and speak) to safely perform work</li><li>
Will need to be able to perform sedentary to heavy work</li><li>
May operate hand and power tools (electric, gas, and pneumatic) of all types</li><li>
Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds</li><li>
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis</li><li>
Position may require prolonged bending/twisting, walking, crawling, kneeling, reaching overhead, squatting, pushing /pulling, or standing and lifting</li><li>
Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, muddy conditions, loose rock, loose/soft sand, etc.</li><li>
May be required to work in confined spaces</li><li>
Will be exposed to adverse weather conditions (Heat, Cold, Rain, Etc.)</li></ul><div><b>
