<div>Summary:

The Master Scheduler is responsible for collaborating with the Production Planner/Coordinator (or associate/s designated by the Plant leadership) to ensure that our master production schedule is optimized to fulfill the company&rsquo;s orders on time, in full, and on budget, while ensuring the efficient utilization of manufacturing capabilities. This role is also responsible for working with the Planning, Procurement, Production and other cross-functional teams to drive continuous process improvements.

 <div>What You&rsquo;ll Do: 

<ul><li>Develop, execute, and manage weekly, monthly, and yearly production schedules in accordance with demand forecast.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure weekly requirements are clearly communicated on time in full to material planners and other relevant team members to efficiently deliver week + 1 plan.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Track schedule adherence, analyze performance data, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and pinpoint areas for improvement.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Navigate current and future capacity/supply/equipment constraints, including planned &amp; unplanned downtime, affecting production by engaging stakeholders throughout the planning process and proactively lead the development of recovery plans.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Schedule and manage finished goods inventory and advise on production volumes and timing based on customer demand, historic data, and sales forecasts.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure weekly production schedules achieve WIP and finished goods inventory targets and maximize the output of the company&rsquo;s manufacturing resources.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Resolve problems relating to shortages, variances, or other impediments to ensure smooth material flow through the plant.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review issues, constraints and actions relating to the weekly, monthly, and quarterly production schedules, consistent with the agreed supply policies.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Evaluate the success of current schedules and processes, recommending and implementing improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Engage in long-term production planning and portfolio scheduling to ensure demand forecasts can be met and that processes are efficient and feasible.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure all items and activities are accurately reflected in the supply planning system.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Support required changes to seasonal inventory pre-builds, re-balancing of production, and production shift requirements.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Facilitate the Demand Control Review meetings as a critical component of S&amp;OP.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Lead weekly sequencing review with Operations and Materials Schedulers respectively.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Serve as a central point of contact, coordinating with various departments, including sales, manufacturing, logistics, and project management, to gather requirements and integrate their activities into the master schedule.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provide technical planning support to the plant scheduling and logistics associates.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Partner with purchasing department to streamline processes and ensure all material and production schedule needs are met versus the demand forecast.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Partner with inventory and warehouse manager to analyzes inventory trends and communicates issues with excess or shortages and address material nearing shelf life.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develop customized reports for stakeholders, providing clear, concise updates on schedule status, progress, and potential risks.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Other duties as assigned or necessary.</li></ul> 


What You&rsquo;ll Need 

<ul><li>3-5 years&rsquo; experience in production scheduling and planning.</li></ul>
<ul><li>CPIM &ndash; Certificate in Planning and Inventory Management preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel.</li></ul>
<ul><li>A metrics-driven mindset with analytical skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong problems solving/critical thinking skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong mathematical skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience in a leadership or supervisor role.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, organizational maturity, and interpersonal relation skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities effectively.</li></ul>
