Driver for appliance delivery routes with basic hook up, in and around Myrtle Beach, Conway, Longs, Loris, North Carolina Coast . Appliances being installed can range from gas &amp; electric appliances, washer, dryer, coffee makers, cooktops, vent hoods and other home appliances.Schedule: Monday - SaturdayMust arrive to warehouse between 5:30-6:00am**** WEEKLY PAY ****Location: Conway,SCDuties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Timely and accurate delivery including install of appliances</li><li>Select and use basic tools to assemble, adjust and install various appliances</li><li>Must be able to follow complex installation instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation of Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Stoves, Laundry, etc.</li><li>Loading and unloading up to 75 - 600 lbs. with the assistance of an appliance dolly/appliance big wheel</li><li>Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material</li><li>Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests</li><li>Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor</li><li>Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations</li><li>Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures</li><li>Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material</li><li>Ability to work overtime as needed</li></ul>Candidate must have a valid State Issued Drivers License.CDL Driver Class A (preferred NOT required)Must have clean driving record!!!!!*Pre-employment drug and background screening required*Job Duties include:<ul><li>Licensed and able to drive delivery truck up to 24' &amp; use basic GPS navigation</li><li>Properly loads and protects all product for delivery</li><li>Follows prescribed safety procedures at all times to protect associates, customers, merchandise, and property</li><li>Follows all protocal for maintaining the delivery vehicle</li><li>Uses and maintains material handling equipment per process</li><li>Handles paperwork accurately and acquires all signatures per process</li><li>Ensures customer satisfaction by maintaining delivery schedule and a professional attitude</li><li>Calls customer prior to delivery and maintains customer service standards during interaction at delivery</li><li>Addresses and relays any customer concerns to store management immediately</li><li>Interacts with sales teams for special instructions for each delivery</li><li>Completes basic hookup (e.g. connect dryer cord &amp; vent) for qualified home appliances</li><li>Performs deluxing of furniture, fitness equipment, and lawn &amp; garden during delivery</li><li>Assists with store tasks including unloading trucks, loading customer vehicles, &amp; moving product on the sales floor</li><li>Assists with cleaning and other housekeeping duties at the store</li><li>Performs misc duties as assigned</li></ul>CAL Freight Express LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
