Who We&rsquo;re Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Phlebotomy Technician Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! The Phlebotomy Technician Programs run for 3-12 weeks. Applicants must be available to work the following schedule:<ul><li>
Monday through Thursday from 1:00 pm- 5:00pm</li></ul>
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Instructing students in all aspects of the Phlebotomy Technician scope of practice.</li><li>
Evaluating, reporting, and recording student performance and progress.</li><li>
Prepare students in a 72-hour class to go on to a 40-hour externship in a lab or hospital.</li><li>
Assisting students to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.</li><li>
Providing a professional role model for students</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Current CPT License.</li><li>
Must have 3 years of documented on-the-job experience in a CLIA lab within the last 5 years.</li><li>
No teaching experience is required.</li><li>
Must be proficient in all aspects of blood collection, including capillary, syringe, vacutainer, and butterfly methods.</li><li>
Must be comfortable with speaking to large groups, multi-tasking, and critical thinking.</li><li>
Efficient with computers and technology.</li><li>
Organized and detail-oriented.</li></ul>
