We&rsquo;re hiring a Catering Sales Director based in Washington, DC.!</b></p><p>
The Catering Sales Director will drive growth, loyalty, and guest satisfaction across our catering program. This role balances strategic planning with hands-on execution, driving sales growth. This position reports to the VP of Shop Operations.</p><p><b>

Your core responsibilities will be:</b></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Sales Strategy &amp; Planning</b></h3><ul><li>
Develop and implement the Catering Sales Plan aligned with company goals, including catering sales strategy in new markets</li><li>
Lead annual, quarterly, and monthly planning, including key milestones and initiatives.</li><li>
Project and track catering revenue targets annually, monthly, and for key holidays.</li><li>
Partner with Marketing team to develop exciting and on-brand marketing initiatives that drive catering sales</li><li>
Partner with Culinary and Training teams to suggest catering menu enhancements or changes based on customer feedback and market demand</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Sales Outreach, Relationship Building, and System Management</b></h3><ul><li>
Conduct personalized outreach to new and returning catering guests.</li><li>
Follow up on large orders to ensure satisfaction and build loyalty.</li><li>
Identify regular or high-potential guests and convert them into recurring accounts.</li><li>
Execute seasonal outreach campaigns (e.g., past holiday guests, cold outreach for new leads).</li><li>
Partner with shops to identify and reach out to local organizations, businesses, and schools for targeted outreach.</li></ul><ul><li>
Manage key recurring catering accounts across all locations, ensuring timely check-ins and continuity.</li><li>
Monitor sales progress against plan and adjust tactics accordingly.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Guest Communication, Shop Support, and Order Management</b></h3><ul><li>
Quote, coordinate, and follow up on large or specialized orders.</li><li>
Ensure the seamless execution of recurring and high level catering orders by coordinating with shops and updating orders to meet guest needs.</li><li>
Share daily catering sales recap with internal stakeholders.</li></ul><ul><li>
Provide in-shop support for large/specialized catering orders, seasonal volume surges, or training needs.</li><li>
Develop and execute an outgoing sales platform utilizing and cultivating a robust customer relations database.</li></ul><p><b>
You&rsquo;ll be a great addition to the CYM team if you:</b></p><ul><li>
Have 5+ years of experience in a catering sales role, required</li><li>
Have a track record of consistently reaching or exceeding sales goals</li><li>
Possess strong cold calling and sales presentation skills, and ability to turn leads into sales</li><li>
Have experience with CRM software, online ordering systems, and loyalty programs, required</li><li>
Have a professional presence, ability to adapt message and approach to the audience, and ability to relate to a wide variety of people and tailor communication accordingly</li><li>
Are hospitality-oriented and hold a passion for the guest experience</li><li>
Possess high attention to detail; strong organizational skills; exemplary written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Work effectively with high degree of autonomy</li><li>
Excellent time management skills</li><li>
Are highly motivated to success with passion and a sense of urgency</li><li>
Have flexibility in work environment: office, work from home, and field-based client meetings</li></ul><p><b>
