This role requires core skills in animal handling, pet care, and animal restraint, ensuring the safety and well-being of the animals. Additionally, strong customer service abilities will help you build lasting relationships with pet owners. A valid driver's license is essential and fulfilling walking duties efficiently. Join our team to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their families.Responsibilities<ul><li>Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being during outings.</li><li>Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding and administering medications as needed.</li><li>Handle animals with care and restraint, following best practices for animal care.</li><li>Maintain clear communication with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behaviors.</li><li>Drive to clients' homes to deliver services, ensuring a valid driver's license is maintained.</li><li>Assist with basic dog training and reinforce positive behaviors during walks.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PART-TIME DOG WALKER / PET SITTER<ul><li>Experience caring for dogs and cats</li><li>Physically able to walk and handle large dogs</li><li>Live within our service area (your work radius will be a 10-minute drive from your home)</li><li>Flexibility and willingness to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays (overnights and doggy sleepovers are optional)</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation that you are willing to put mileage on</li><li>Own a smartphone and enjoy taking pictures</li><li>Genuine love and affection for all animals</li></ul>Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>Compensation Package:<ul><li>1099 contract</li><li>Commission pay</li><li>Supplemental income</li><li>Tips</li></ul>Work Location: In person
