Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform Vehicle and test facility Setup. Instrument test vehicles and install high-speed cameras in accordance with customer requirements, standard test procedures, and work instructions. Complete mechanical modifications and installations to test articles and equipment.</li><li>
Document results through procedures and checklists. Create reports using MS Office Software.</li><li>
Install Safety restraints on the test vehicle.</li><li>
Operate, repair, and diagnose HV Battery Systems on Electric Vehicles</li><li>
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and data collection problems with test equipment and measurement devices.</li><li>
Maintain, repair, and upgrade test systems to maximize operational availability and the fidelity and accuracy of all test data. Perform equipment calibration and repairs.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<p><b>
Preferred Education / Experience:</b></p><ul><li>
Automotive Technology Degree</li><li>
ASE Certification A6 Highly Preferred</li><li>
Autoshop experience a plus</li><li>
3+ years in related discipline or;</li><li>
A combination of education and experience equivalent to above</li></ul><div></div><p><b><br>
Preferred Knowledge / Ability:
</b></p><ul><li>Troubleshooting mechanical or electrical problems</li><li>
Electrical and electronic principles</li><li>
Perform operations and execute moderately complex test procedures for engineering, scientific, or real-time data acquisition</li><li>
Read and understand engineering plans and specifications</li><li>
Read drawings and troubleshoot</li><li>
Microsoft Office</li></ul>
Salary Range (min): USD $25.00/Yr. Salary Range (max): USD $30.00/Yr.</div>
