Qualifications:<ul><li>

Prior supervisory experience</li><li>

2nd/3rd Shift Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech

<div>Calyx Living is actively seeking 2nd/3rd Shift Medication Technicians (Med Techs) for our assisted living community located in beautiful North Durham off the Eno River and just minutes from Duke University, the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham's vibrant entertainment district. As a Med Tech, you will be responsible for the administration of medications and also be responsible for supporting the Personal Care Assistants (PCA's) by providing personal care services to our seniors. Additional responsibilities may include but aren't limited to: Keeping records updated on medication administrative files, regular communication with pharmacy, families, residents and supervisors, charting, verbal encouragement to support residents, and order/receive medication.
Must have a &quot;safety first&quot; attitude towards all of our residents and staff.
Qualifications<ul><li>
Active North Carolina MT Certification required</li><li>
Assisted Living / Skilled Nursing experience a must</li><li>
Excellent communication with residents and families
</li><li>Compassion, patience and understanding for residents</li><li>
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail</li><li>
Supervisory background preferred</li><li>
Must be available to work weekends and holidays</li></ul>

Calyx is looking to hire 2nd/3rd Shift Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech who will support the supervision of care staff while being responsible for the administration of medications and supporting the Personal Care Assistants (PCA's) by providing personal care services to our seniors. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing assistance to residents on a daily basis, supervising staff, keeping an updated work schedule as call outs/changes occur, assure training is up to date and follow established safety precautions.
Qualifications
<ul><li>21 years of age or older</li><li>
Prior experience as a Supervisor in Charge</li><li>
Prior experience with seniors strongly preferred</li><li>
