The Role
As our SDR, you'll play the crucial role of breaking into new accounts and fostering relationships within our target customer segments in Turkey. You understand that this is one of the most vital roles in the company, directly impacting the bottom line by creating the initial pipeline. Day-to-day, you'll collaborate closely with the wider sales team, conduct market research, and qualify leads by learning about their approach to language education.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Drive New Business Growth: Execute targeted, outbound prospecting and account penetration strategies to generate qualified sales opportunities.</li><li>
Qualify and Nurture Leads: Engage and develop leads (inbound and outbound) through multi-channel outreach including social selling, cold calls, email sequences, and event follow-up.</li><li>
Master the Lead Lifecycle: Identify and develop an in-depth understanding of the lead generation process, supporting marketing activities and ensuring a seamless, qualified handoff to an Account Executive.</li><li>
Diligently Follow Up: Conduct persistent follow-up calls and emails until meetings are successfully set.</li><li>
Contribute to Sales Strategy: Share valuable market insights and help build out our world-class Sales Playbook and Tech Stack by learning from our well-seasoned sales team.</li></ul>
Qualifications
Must-Haves<ul><li>
Native in Turkish and fully proficient in English (C1/C2 level) for clear business communication.</li><li>
2 years of proven experience in a Sales Development, BDR, or similar outbound commercial role.</li><li>
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role.</li><li>
Experience working directly with B2B clients in the Turkish market.</li><li>
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You have a way with words and can write compelling email copy and sequence campaigns that convert.</li><li>
Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools</li><li>
Experience working with HR &amp; Learning Development teams or for a learning, e-learning, HR software, or wellbeing company.</li></ul>

Responsibilities<ul><li>
Strategic Account Ownership: Fully own a targeted list of strategic accounts, developing and executing comprehensive inbound and outbound strategies</li><li>
Revenue Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.</li><li>
Pipeline Generation: Proactively cultivate a robust sales pipeline through expert individual outreach, collaborative campaigns with your SDR, and efficient management of qualified inbound prospects.</li><li>
Relationship &amp; Rapid Closure: Efficiently build and nurture relationships with business owners and key decision-makers (often learning and development managers, or department heads) within the small business segment. Drive swift internal buy-in and successfully negotiate and close transactions quickly, maintaining a high volume of closed deals.</li><li>
Business Acumen &amp; Insight: Possess the rapid instincts necessary to quickly assess a small business's current needs, financial capacity, and decision-maker motivations, leveraging this insight to position our solution for an efficient win.</li><li>
Data Integrity &amp; Forecasting: Maintain impeccable data quality in our CRM with up-to-date customer information, accurate forecasts, and precise pipeline data to ensure optimal business visibility and continuous sales process improvement.</li></ul>
Qualifications
Must-Haves<ul><li>
Native in Turkish and fully proficient in English (C1/C2 level) for clear business communication.</li><li>
At least 1 year of outbound sales experience as an SDR or closer</li><li>
3+ years of closing inbound and outbound sales</li><li>
A demonstrable track record of developing greenfield territories and landing net-new logos</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and leverage relationships with buyers</li><li>
Possess a true Hunter mentality with solid sales DNA, a proactive entrepreneurial spirit, and an appetite for continual learning within a fast-paced startup environment.</li></ul>
