Client Services &amp; Sales Marketing SpecialistCambridge Innovation Institute (CII) is seeking a creative, outgoing, and self-motivated Client Services &amp; Sales Marketing Specialist to help execute the marketing of our sponsorship and exhibit opportunities, and work directly with sponsors and exhibitors to fulfill contracted deliverables and create a positive and seamless client experience. This dynamic and cross-functional position is ideal for an early-career marketing professional looking to gain hands-on exposure across multiple business functions and develop a versatile and highly transferable skill set in these areas:<ul><li>Marketing Coordination &amp; Execution &ndash; Assist with campaign execution, promotional and revenue-generating initiatives, content development, and go-to-market activities</li><li>Client Services / Customer Success Support &ndash; Help drive client retention and engagement through proactive communication, contract fulfillment and coordination of deliverables</li></ul>Develop a strong foundation for future advancement into marketing, account management, sales, or client success. Great opportunity for anyone interested in a career in the events industry!Specific responsibilities include: <ul><li>Develop and execute e-mail-marketing campaigns to promote exhibit and sponsorship opportunities.</li><li>Track and report statistics for e-mail sales marketing campaigns for each conference.</li><li>Coordinate the fulfillment of clients&rsquo; contracted deliverables, e.g. set up one-on-one meetings for sponsors at events, order branded items, and organize the exhibit hall game card and raffle.</li><li>Write and proofread sales-related marketing materials, e.g. brochures and event websites.</li><li>Collaborate with the design team on production of exhibit &amp; sponsorship collateral.</li><li>Create, post, and update web content for sponsorship and exhibit pages.</li><li>Develop LinkedIn social media promotions to increase event visibility and drive sponsorship and exhibit sales.</li><li>Maintain the Sponsor &amp; Exhibitor Portal: ensure deadlines are accurate, information is posted for clients to access, and client content is uploaded by the deadlines.</li><li>Conduct market research on competitive events to identify prospective sponsors and expand the prospect database.</li><li>Assist with client requests for demographics, attendee lists, and other event statistics.</li><li>Support engagement initiatives, e.g. cooperative client registration discount campaigns.</li><li>Travel to events as needed to assist with on-site deliverables and client support. This is one of the most gratifying and enjoyable parts of the job!</li><li>Support Best of Show Awards programs (web design, marketing, planning).</li></ul>Core Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>1-2 years&rsquo; experience supporting sales with marketing execution: email marketing, social media (especially LinkedIn), and basic campaign coordination</li><li>Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field</li><li>Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills</li><li>Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented &ndash; able to manage multiple campaigns, logistics, deadlines, and client deliverables simultaneously</li><li>Creative and resourceful &ndash; will bring ideas for improving campaigns, engagement, and client experience</li><li>Professional, client-facing communication and customer-service orientation</li><li>Responsiveness and follow-through &ndash; strong sense of ownership in ensuring client deliverables are completed accurately and on time</li><li>Adaptable and flexible within a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and problem-solving is a daily part of the job</li><li>Able to travel (around 4 trips yearly) and work sometimes long days at events.</li><li>Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)</li><li>Familiarity with content management systems and website updates</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting</li><li>Experience with CRM systems is a plus</li></ul>Compensation: $25 - $26 per hour (equivalent to $52,000 &ndash; $54,000 per year), and eligible for performance bonus tied to revenue and profit goals.Hybrid Work Location: Mostly remote; preference for candidates living within 40 miles of Needham, Massachusetts headquarters, and able to attend in-person team meetings (monthly or semi-monthly) and quarterly company meetings.
