</div></div><div><div><div><b>POSITION OVERVIEW</b></div><div>
The role of a Seasonal Van Driver is to safely transport <b>Wayfinders cohort participants and staff </b>to and from site tour trip location sites. In addition to transporting youth safely, Van Drivers must attend the tour and strive to arrive on time at all sites/locations.</div><div>
</div><div><b>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</b></div><ul><li>Passion and interest in supporting science and environmental learning opportunities for underrepresented youth</li><li>Culturally competent- experience working with children of color from diverse backgrounds</li><li>Transport youth safely to and from tour sites / locations</li><li>Unload, load and clean van on the day of the trip</li><li>Availability to re-fuel the day before the tour (paid time)</li><li>Re-fuel at the conclusion of the trip</li><li>Safely park the vehicle</li><li>Ensure health and safety of participants (including emotional, and physical wellbeing), ensure youth are safe, stay on task and are respectful during transportation</li><li>Enforce rules and behavioral expectations as needed, follow behavioral management and safety protocols before departing for field trips</li><li>Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with all ELSO Incorporated staff and Studio Justice Program Director</li><li>Close attention to details which include time management (staying on schedule)</li><li>Report all accidents, problems, and successes to the Program Director (maintain and complete a daily log)</li><li>Experience or interest in driving a 12-passenger van, 15-passenger van, or an electric vehicle</li></ul><br>

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b>
<ul><li>Must be able to pass a background check as required by the Oregon Department of Education for positions that work directly with youth (Oregon State Department of Education Disqualifying Crimes 342.143)</li><li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record for 1 year prior to application</li><li>Must have clean background check</li><li>Must be at least 25 years old to apply</li><li>Volunteer and/or work experience with driving 15 passenger vans</li></ul><div>
