Responsibilities: - Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and contracts - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases - Organize and maintain legal files and documents - Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys - Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters - Prepare and draft correspondence, memos, and other legal documents - Manage calendars and deadlines for multiple cases simultaneouslyExperience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal or in a related legal field - Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices - Familiarity with conducting legal research using online databases and resources - Ability to interview clients and witnesses to gather necessary information - Understanding of litigation processes and procedures - Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office SuiteSkills: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues - Knowledge of various areas of law, including commercial litigation- We value initiative, sound judgment, and a positive attitudeThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal to join our team.
