Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counselor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling, childhood development, and academic advising. This role is essential in fostering a supportive environment for students, helping them navigate their academic and personal challenges while promoting their overall well-being.Duties<ul><li>Recruit international students to increase the student population.</li><li>Maintain an up to date record of the student recruitment and admissions process.</li><li>Reply to and follow up on leads and set up appointments with prospective students in a timely manner.</li><li>Lock down prospects for commitment and lead them through the entire enrollment and payment process.</li><li>Review all student information and ensure accuracy when entering it into the school management system.</li><li>Provide necessary guidance to prospective and current students.</li><li>Be accessible to students in working to help and resolve student complaints and provide customer service.</li><li>Collaborate with the wider Sales and Admissions teams to follow up on inquiries and applications to convert the leads into new students.</li><li>Gather all necessary documents from prospective students and coordinate closely with Registrar and DSO regarding student files.</li><li>Adherence to all company policies and procedures.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum associate&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.</li><li>Experience in international admissions (Preferred).</li><li>Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students from various cultures / nationalities.</li><li>Good time management and organizational skills.</li><li>Effective problem solving and decision-making abilities</li><li>Strong computer skills including MS Office.</li><li>Work ethic</li><li>Team player.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: In person
