Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Friday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Extended Hours Schedule (bi-monthly rotating schedule): Weekday 10 am - 8:00 pm; Weekend 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Pay Rate: $23.27 - $26.76 hourly based on experience

What You&rsquo;ll Do
The Patient Experience Expert I (Front Desk Receptionist) is to provide a welcoming first point of contact and ensure accurate patient registration, scheduling, and communication so that patients experience timely, respectful and coordinated access to care.<ul><li>
Represent CAN Community Health&rsquo;s mission, vision, and values in all interactions</li><li>
Provide professional, confidential assistance to patients</li><li>
Accurately collect, process and post patient payments, including co-pays, deductibles and outstanding balance.</li><li>
Verify and updated patient insurance information and eligibility during check-in</li><li>
Accurately explaining billing policies, insurance coverage and patient financial responsibilities.</li><li>
Ensures compliance with federal and state billing regulations and clinic policies, especially related to CAN&rsquo;s mission.</li><li>
Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Team to resolve discrepancies and ensure payments are posted accurately.</li><li>
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing any necessary follow-up for missing payments.</li><li>
Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing, insurance and payment in a timely manner.</li><li>
Assist with other front desk duties including answering phones and managing patient paperwork.</li></ul>

Requirements:

Education/Professional:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent required</li><li>
Minimum of one year experience in a medical office or front office setting</li><li>
Knowledge of electronic medical records systems preferred</li><li>
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver&rsquo;s license.</li></ul>
