 The COO will act as the CEO&rsquo;s operational right hand, driving execution across the group&rsquo;s transportation and logistics businesses. This role sits at the center of strategy and operations, ensuring alignment between vision, performance, and delivery across multiple entities.
 
 
 This position requires a senior leader with deep transportation and logistics expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex, multi entity operations with discretion and authority.
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 &bull; Translate the CEO&rsquo;s strategic vision into operational execution across all business units
 
 
 &bull; Oversee day to day transport, fleet, and logistics operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and profitability
 
 
 &bull; Drive performance management across Operations, Fleet, Finance, HR, Legal, Safety, and Compliance
 
 
 &bull; Lead cross functional alignment to improve service delivery, cost control, and margin performance
 
 
 &bull; Manage P and L oversight across multiple entities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
 
 
 &bull; Strengthen governance, reporting frameworks, and operational KPIs
 
 
 &bull; Oversee contract performance, SLAs, and relationships with government entities and strategic partners
 
 
 &bull; Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
 
 
 &bull; Lead transformation initiatives across fleet optimization, digital systems, compliance, and process automation
 
 
 &bull; Ensure regulatory compliance across transportation and logistics operations
 
 
 &bull; Represent the CEO in executive, government, and partner meetings when required
 
 
 &bull; Maintain strict confidentiality across all strategic and commercial matters
 
 
 
 
 
 Job Qualifications
 
 
 &bull; Minimum 20 years of senior leadership experience
 
 
 &bull; Extensive background in transportation, logistics, or fleet based operations
 
 
 &bull; Proven experience operating at COO, General Manager, or Operations Director level
 
 
 &bull; Strong commercial and financial acumen with P and L responsibility
 
 
 &bull; Demonstrated ability to lead large scale, multi site operations
 
 
 &bull; Experience working within complex, multi entity group structures
 
 
 &bull; Strong leadership presence and decision making capability
