Given that candi is taking solar into a new realm with a new set of tools, the role will require creativity, innovation and a new way of thinking.Specifically, the job requires taking ownership of the following for the India team:<ul><li>Project Manager with 10 to 12 years of experience managing end to end execution of solar projects of both roof top and ground mounted projects. Experience of open access projects is must.</li><li>Clear understanding of state solar policies and regulatory approvals involved in setting up the solar project.</li><li>Ability to perform engineering reviews, questioning design basics, validating assumptions and provide approval to EPC.</li><li>Develop and execute comprehensive project plans inline with company&rsquo;s strategic goals and objectives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality &amp; Safety standards.</li><li>Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables, fostering collaboration and teamwork.</li><li>Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing contingency plans to minimize potential impacts.</li><li>Develop and manage detailed project schedules using MS Project or similar tools, tracking progress, and communicating status updates to stakeholders.</li><li>Coordinate with EPC&rsquo;s (Project Site Team, SCM, Design, Solar CC, QHSE, Admin, Evac, etc.) to ensure efficient project execution and resource allocation.</li><li>Monitor project financials, maintaining cash flows, cost control, and financial reporting, to maximize project profitability.</li><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations and delivering exceptional project outcomes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness</li></ul>Location: Bangalore/ChennaiHours: Full time.Job Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with 8-12 years of overall working experience.</li><li>PMP certification (preferred).</li><li>Proven track record of successful project delivery in the solar energy industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of solar project lifecycle, from development to operations.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).</li><li>Knowledge of Engineering/Design review of Rooftop/Ground mounted projects</li><li>Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in project management software</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li></ul>Working Culture:<ul><li>You agree to live out the Candi values every day of your employment: this includes to put empathy before ego, being authentic no matter what, that we get it done as one and follow the Candi principle that less is more</li><li>A dynamic, cross-functional team player, willing to take initiative on projects in the context of a multicultural scale-up trying to execute big, bold ideas.</li><li>Having experience working for an international company, or having studied or worked abroad, is considered a plus.</li><li>You must be open, honest, trustworthy, a strong communicator, and understand that what we get done as a team surpasses what we get done individually.</li><li>candi is an equal opportunities employer.</li></ul>candi is unique because...<ul><li>We focus on helping businesses of all sizes in emerging markets get access to cheap, clean rooftop solar energy.</li><li>We have a strong emphasis on a client-centric &amp; innovation-driven working culture.</li><li>We are an international team where remote working is commonplace, where we trust our team members to actively carve out a role for themselves according to their skillset.</li></ul>Only qualified candidates will be contacted.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;100,000.00 - &#8377;120,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
