Summary:The Senior Estimator is responsible for leading the estimating function, delivering accurate and competitive project estimates, and supporting strategic decision-making across sales and operations for complex fabrication projects. Our client is expanding capabilities and facilities to support high-demand industries such as data centers and industrial manufacturing. This is a full-time Senior Estimator position based in Pearland, TX.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for:</li><li>Isometric piping systems</li><li>Structural steel skids</li><li>Modular process units</li><li>ASME Section VIII pressure vessels (Div. 1 &amp; Div. 2)</li><li>Review RFQs, drawings, specifications, and client requirements</li><li>Perform detailed material take-offs and labor hour estimates</li><li>Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes</li><li>Develop cost models, bid summaries, and pricing strategies</li><li>Identify risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities</li><li>Coordinate with engineering, production, and procurement teams</li><li>Participate in client clarifications and bid review meetings</li><li>Support project handoff to operations upon award</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>7+ years of estimating experience in fabrication or industrial manufacturing</li><li>Strong knowledge of:</li><li>Isometric drawings and piping systems</li><li>Structural steel fabrication</li><li>Modular/skid-mounted systems</li><li>ASME Code requirements for pressure vessels</li><li>Experience estimating high-pressure vessels (separators, scrubbers, reactors, etc.)</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specs</li><li>Familiarity with ASME Section VIII (Div. 1 &amp; 2 preferred)</li><li>Strong Excel and estimating software skills</li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Background in welding/fabrication or mechanical engineering</li><li>Experience with EPC, ASME, Modular packages, Structural components, or data center-related projects</li><li>Knowledge of coatings, NDE, and QA/QC requirements</li><li>Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines</li></ul>Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
