Compensation:
$35,000 - $50,000 yearly
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assist attorneys and Paralegals with managing case files, ensuring deadlines are met and documents are organized.</li><li>
Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, including motions, correspondence, and pleadings.</li><li>
Communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals to facilitate case progress.</li><li>
Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings, ensuring calendars are up to date.</li><li>
Conduct light research and gather necessary case information as directed.</li><li>
Provide general administrative support to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Billing for your time working on files.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Organized and Detail-Oriented: You thrive on keeping things in order and ensuring accuracy in all tasks.</li><li>
Adaptable and Proactive: Self-starter able to pivot quickly between tasks and anticipate what&rsquo;s needed next.</li><li>
Compassionate Communicator: You possess excellent communication skills and can work effectively with people under stress.</li><li>
Spanish Speaking a Plus</li><li>
Proven experience as a Legal Assistant.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software experience with Clio is a plus, along with being technically savvy.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.</li><li>
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures in criminal and family law.</li><li>
Federal experience is a plus and will set you apart from other candidates.</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent; additional legal certifications are a plus.</li></ul>
