Maintains Learning Centers</div></li><li><div>
Maintains a warm, inviting child friendly classroom environment</div></li><li><div>
Plans and implements Educational programs and daily activities</div></li><li><div>
Establishes a weekly schedule and lesson plan</div></li><li><div>
Promotes each child's social, emotional, intellectual and physical development</div></li><li><div>
Provides a clean, safe and healthy work environment</div></li><li><div>
Maintains accurate records</div></li><li><div>
Documents children's progress and completes all State required documents</div></li><li><div>
Provides instruction for Teachers</div></li><li><div>
Manages children's behavior</div></li><li><div>
Comply with the provisions of the Child Maltreatment Reporting Act by bringing any suspected cases of child maltreatment to Director or Co-Director for possible reporting to the designated reporting agency</div></li><li><div>

Minimum Qualifications</div><div>
The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job:</div><div></div><div>
Education and Formal Training:</div><ul><li><div>
Associate&rsquo;s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required</div></li><li><div>
CPR and First Aid certifications required</div></li><li><div>
Infant Toddler Safe Sleep (ITS-SIDS) certification required</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Work Experience:</div><ul><li><div>
1 year of responsible classroom experience in a professional large Child Care Center required</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:</div><ul><li><div>
Knowledge of physical, intellectual, emotional, and social characteristics of children ages birth-five years old and up to 12 years old for Weekend Care</div></li><li><div>
Knowledge of State Child Care regulations</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Physical Requirements:</div><ul><li><div>
Work involves a variety of activities to include walking, standing and lifting of children and various objects</div></li><li><div>
Ability to stand for 30 minutes</div></li><li><div>
Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and age appropriately</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
