General Summary

The Retail Banker (RB) position provides prompt, efficient and friendly service to clients. This role assists clients with their banking needs, which may include introducing clients to technology. Provides information about Bank products and services as well as identifies opportunities through conversations to satisfy clients&rsquo; and prospective clients&rsquo; financial needs and goals. Follows established policies and procedures.

A Retail Banker will be responsive to both Personal Banker and Teller needs of clients.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Are Reflective of a Retail Banker and Not Necessarily in Order of Frequency or Importance

<div><div><ul><li>Must be energetic, engaging and able to handle various client interactions with innovative banking technologies.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Opens, closes, services and supports all accounts, products and services.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Uses various programs to ensure work is completed accurately and in compliance with regulations, such as: Bank Secrecy Act, Reg CC, Privacy, Currency Transaction Reporting.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Responds to client questions or concerns in a quick, courteous and friendly manner.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Cross-sells Bank products and services, marketing campaigns and initiatives, to new and existing clients to meet their needs as well as attain individual, division and Bank goals.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Enters data, updates and maintains client information and status of referrals and leads, in Synapsis.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Follows procedures for open/close office and robbery response.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Educate clients regarding ID fraud, phishing scams.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Process consumer and commercial transactions, i.e.: account deposits/withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, Official Checks, wires, and safe deposit box payments, when applicable.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Keeps cash secure and maintains a high level of safety and security. Maintains cash levels; balances cash drawer daily; scans Teller work.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Follows procedures including researching, and locating outages, thereby limiting violations of Teller and Personal Banker Performance Balancing Standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Attends meetings and training sessions, as required.</li></ul>

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Required

The following KSAs are usually acquired through 1-2 year&rsquo;s work experience and/or a combination of work and education. Experience in client service, sales, cash handling is required.

Education

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred, but not required. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement. Successful completion of in-house training program or other approved training program is a plus.

General Summary

This position is primarily responsible for the monitoring of Borrowing Base Clients by requesting, compiling and analyzing all supporting documents on a monthly basis for each borrowing base client and then determining the appropriate action to take on the respective credit line.

Additional responsibilities - Conduct credit investigations and analyze credit information pertaining to loan opportunities. Provides assistance to Commercial Loan Officers and Credit Analyst Manager in making credit decisions through preparation of financial spreadsheets and written analyses focusing on the borrower&rsquo;s historical and projected ability to service existing and any new debt.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Reviews detailed accounts receivables, inventory accounting records and balance sheets in order to evaluate collateral values for borrowing base certificates.</li>
<li>Input daily activity into the Cadence software and verify that each client&rsquo;s Daily Collateral Report agrees to the balance on the Jack Henry System.</li>
<li>Work with lenders/clients to obtain required documents to properly monitor their ABL.
</li><li>Reviews collateral records to determine compliance with loan agreement reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Review and verify that collateral submitted by clients reconciles to subsidiary schedules such as sales reports, credit memos, and lock box reports.</li>
<li>Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
</li><li>Accountable for risk management compliance as per policy.</li>
<li>Investigates and resolves collateral discrepancies.</li>
<li>Describe and document all suspicious and fraudulent activity immediately to the Manager
</li><li>Collaborates with Loan Service associates to reconcile all operational aspects to include Jack Henry and Cadence management software system.</li>
<li>Perform timely underwriting and analysis of loan requests and reviews.</li>
<li>Spreads financial statements of commercial clients using Abrigo software and prepares concisely written narrative, focusing on areas of profitability, liquidity, cash flow, industry stabilization and overall capacity to service debt.</li>
<li>Works jointly with Commercial Loan Officers in the preparation of loan packages for the purpose of properly decisioning loan requests. The Credit Analyst&rsquo;s primary focus will be to document the borrower&rsquo;s historical and projected capacity to repay and to make a recommendation as to if and how the Bank should proceed with the request.
</li><li>Performs annual financial reviews of existing large credit exposures to the Bank to ensure those relationships are properly risk rated and that the loan is in compliance with any covenants that may have been established.</li>
<li>Performs annual reviews of significant ACH relationships to ensure approval levels are appropriate and that the risk profile continues to be acceptable.
</li><li>Periodically monitors significant criticized and classified loans as well as other performing loans having higher risk profiles to ensure the relationships are properly risk rated.</li>

Education

Degree from an accredited University with emphasis on Finance, Business or related field required. Relevant work experience may substitute for the education requirement.
