In this vital role, you&rsquo;ll operate tractor-trailers equipped with automatic transmissions, hauling a variety of cargo mostly dry goods. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love the freedom of route driving, this opportunity is your next exciting challenge!Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmissions across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.</li><li>Mostly No-Touch Freight.</li><li>Transport diverse dry goods cargo.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and inspection reports in compliance with DOT regulations.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate route plans, delivery schedules, and any unforeseen issues.</li><li>Ensure timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service at each stop.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.</li><li>Proven experience operating tractor-trailers in a commercial driving environment.</li><li>Delivery driver experience preferred, especially involving load &amp; unload procedures and route driving.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance with DOT regulations.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
