Pay Range: Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Test all aspects of Sorenson Communications and/or CaptionCall software and hardware products.</li>
<li>Work as part of a product development team.</li>
<li>Plan testing efforts and work within test timelines and schedules.</li>
<li>Create test cases and provide input to test plans.</li>
<li>Write and implement mobile test automation code to validate product quality.</li>
<li>Monitor, measure, and improve software development and test processes.</li>
<li>Diagnose product problems to ensure product standards are met.</li>
<li>Identify and resolve product defects.</li>
<li>Validate our software meets compliance requirements</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 


Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. 


Travel Requirements

Travel Requirements: Less than 25% 


Education

Minimum/Preferred Education Description

Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Computer Science or related technical field preferred, or equivalent experience 


Experience

1 year experience with professional software testing and QA practices, including automation 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Programming skills <ul><li>- Python/Swift or JavaScript preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of VoIP, SIP and call flows.</li>
<li>Mobile testing experience required</li>
<li>Knowledge of iOS, and Android operating systems</li>
<li>Solid experience with mobile test automation using Swift, XCUITest or Appium highly desired</li>
<li>Network and user interface testing experience.</li>
<li>Able to work well with others in a team environment.</li>
<li>Able to produce and exercise test procedures and recognize errors.</li>
<li>Strong ownership and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Strong trouble-shooting sills, abilities in root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Experience with test automation scripting and execution.</li>
<li>Experience with professional software testing and QA practices.</li></ul>
