About the Role</b></div><div>
We&rsquo;re looking for a Staff Product Designer to help shape the future of our Incentive Compensation Management experiences. This is a senior individual contributor role for a designer who thrives in complexity, owns large problem spaces end to end, and leads through influence, judgment, and craft.</div><div></div><div><br>
As a Staff Designer, you&rsquo;ll guide design across a significant product area, with scope that can extend beyond a single team into the broader ICM pillar. You&rsquo;ll help shape not just individual features, but the foundational systems, patterns, and decisions that influence the wider product experience as CaptivateIQ scales.</div><div></div><div><br>
You&rsquo;ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, CX, and other cross-functional partners to design enterprise-grade workflows that customers rely on to model, manage, and trust their compensation logic; ultimately helping teams stay motivated and confident in how they get paid.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></h3><ul><li>
Own large, ambiguous design problems from discovery through delivery and iteration</li><li>
Design complex, data-heavy workflows for configuring, testing, and managing incentive compensation plans</li><li>
Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other cross-functional partners to frame problems, explore solutions, and ship high-quality experiences</li><li>
Balance usability with flexibility, designing for enterprise scale while ensuring advanced functionality remains approachable and scalable</li><li>
Design and evolve foundational systems and reusable patterns that improve consistency and long-term product quality</li><li>
Champion systems thinking, ensuring solutions integrate cleanly across the broader platform</li><li>
Act as a force multiplier across Design, Product, and Engineering by bringing clarity, strong judgment, and mentorship through example</li><li>
Raise the bar for UX, UI, and interaction design across enterprise-facing product surfaces</li><li>
Lead through influence and execution, not people management</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What you&rsquo;ll Bring</b></h3><ul><li>
8+ years of experience designing SaaS products, ideally B2B, enterprise, or admin-facing tools</li><li>
Strong fundamentals in UX, UI, and interaction design (table stakes for this role)</li><li>
Experience designing data-heavy, workflow-driven systems</li><li>
Strong product sense, with the ability to understand customer, technical, and business tradeoffs</li><li>
An ownership mindset, with a track record of independently driving work end to end</li><li>
Comfort operating in ambiguous, complex problem spaces where clarity emerges through collaboration</li><li>
Ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes and long-term product strategy</li><li>
Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate direction, rationale, and tradeoffs with cross-functional partners and leadership</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

The base range represents the minimum and maximum for this position across North America. For candidates in Toronto, Canada the range is $168,920&ndash;$201,880. The compensation offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate. Our OTE is just one component of CaptivateIQ's competitive total rewards package.</div><div><i>
