</div><div>CAPTRUST is offering a paid <b><i>Tax Internship</i></b> in our New Orleans, LA office that will provide exposure to the inner-workings of a wealth management firm with a robust tax practice. Hands-on learning starts day one in this fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include all aspects of a wealth management firm, including tax planning and compliance, assisting with client service, meeting preparation, software conversion projects, and administrative tasks.</div><div></div><div><br>
CAPTRUST interns must maintain professional and ethical standards, be well organized, service oriented, and capable of performing under tight deadlines. Obtaining course credit may also be possible, depending on the student&rsquo;s program approval. Hours will be flexible based on school schedule. Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assist on special projects (internal projects/client specific)</li><li>
Assist with tax planning and preparation</li><li>
Help team prepare for client meetings</li><li>
Attend client meetings in a support role</li><li>
Participate in cash flow planning/estate planning/cash management/balance sheet planning/ operational business planning</li><li>
Support the client services and administrative teams as needed/requested</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Actively pursuing Undergraduate/Graduate degree; rising Junior or Senior</li><li>
All School of Business Majors (Accounting or Taxation preferred)</li><li>

Tax Intern

WHO are we looking for?</b></div><div></div><div><br>
CAPTRUST is seeking a <b><i>Corporate Counsel</i></b> with commercial contracting experience to join our internal legal team. As counsel, you will provide practical legal advice while mitigating legal risks for the company. The role will work closely with senior internal counsel and other business partners as well as external counsel. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working on commercial contract review and negotiation, as well as working with internal and external counsel on additional legal matters. The candidate will maintain the highest professional and ethical standards, have excellent time management, organization, and decision-making abilities, be able to prioritize projects and deadlines, be collaborative, and accountable while performing in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The ideal candidate will be a mid-level associate interested in getting a broad transactional in-house experience with the ability to develop focus around growing needs of the company.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts (NDAs, vendor agreements)</li><li>
Maintaining standard documents and internal playbooks related to contracts, and other matters on an as-needed basis</li><li>
Assisting internal counsel on a broad range of transactional matters including due diligence</li><li>
Participating in firm initiatives relating to client contracting or other corporate legal matters</li><li>
Executing projects through completion</li><li>
Communicating clearly and accurately across various levels</li><li>
Providing additional legal support and counsel to business groups across the firm</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate from accredited law school</li><li>
Licensed to practice and in good standing in applicable jurisdiction</li><li>
4-7 years of law firm or in-house experience</li></ul><div><i>
