Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional automotive service, keeping customer vehicles running smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical components, in a fast-paced environment committed to quality and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.</li><li>Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, shocks &amp; struts, and steering mechanisms.</li><li>Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and tire service to maintain vehicle longevity.</li><li>Repair or replace critical systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, powertrain components, and auto body parts as needed.</li><li>Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision.</li><li>Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems.</li><li>Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.</li><li>Knowledge of ADAS technology, diesel engine repair, auto electrical systems, and powertrain components.</li><li>Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, oil change procedures, alignment services, suspension systems, tire service, shocks &amp; struts.</li><li>Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software is a plus.</li><li>Experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous but not required.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
