We stock name-brand automotive parts from over 100 manufacturers.Car Parts Warehouse has over 400 employees and 175 delivery vehicles servicing Northeast Ohio's professional installer automotive parts needs.Car Parts Warehouse is looking for an Automotive Parts Delivery Driver to become an integral part of our team. You will drive to deliver auto parts and pick up returns from professional installer customers and other Car Parts Warehouse locations. Most deliveries will be made within a 5-mile radius of the store. The hours are Monday thru Friday 8A-2pResponsibilities:&middot; Safety driving always.&middot; Always represent yourself in a professional manner.&middot; Follow all safety driving rules when driving the vehicle; this includes no cell phones or other devices while driving.&middot; NO SMOKING IN THE VEHICLE AT ALL&middot; No personal passengers in company vehicles.&middot; Company vehicles are not to be used for personal use unless given permission by management.&middot; All accidents must be reported immediately. If you receive a ticket off the clock, this must be reported to Human Resources the next day.&middot; Be courteous to all other drivers on the road.&middot; Adhere to Elite Extra software.&middot; Drivers are not to leave until they are clear that the invoices they are taking are assigned to them and the tablet displays the routes.&middot; Navigate designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws.&middot; When arriving at a customer to drop off parts, be sure not to park your vehicle where it will block anything.&middot; When delivering parts ask the customer if they have any returns.&middot; Do not deliver products to a customer without the proper paperwork.&middot; Make sure the customer signs all invoices charged. Turn in all monies and invoices promptly.&middot; Write up all returns legibly as per policy and procedures.&middot; Always thank the customer for their business.&middot; Call in parts before leaving when applicable.&middot; Complete meal breaks before 3pm&middot; Complete daily vehicle inspections sheets.&middot; Keep vehicles clean, turn in keys at the end of each shift.&middot; When there is any downtime with deliveries, all drivers will be stocking parts, cycle counting and pulling parts.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a store front and warehouse environment.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.This is largely a physical role; This would require the ability to lift product, unload product manually and with a tow motor, driving company vehicles, bending or standing on a ladder as necessary.
