Responsibilities and Duties
Our certified med techs are responsible for ensuring that our residents receive their appropriate medication and medical care plus also assist residents with their daily living activities such as showering, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, oral care, and transportation to/from the dining room.
Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED</li><li>
PA Certified Medical Technician Certification</li><li>
A servant's heart</li><li>
Encouraged but not required upon hire:</li><li>
First Aid/ CPR certified</li><li>
1+ year experience in a similar setting</li></ul>

 Position Summary</h3>
The Medication Technician supports resident care by assisting with activities of daily living and administering medications in accordance with each resident&rsquo;s care plan and physician orders.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
️ Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Administer medications and treatments per care plans and licensed provider orders</li><li>
Accurately document medication administration and treatments</li><li>
Communicate with pharmacy regarding refills, changes, and discrepancies</li><li>
Support residents with daily living activities (mobility, transfers, personal care)</li><li>
Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life</li><li>
Maintain clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and team members</li><li>
Assist with household tasks (meal prep, cleaning, laundry)</li><li>
Complete incident reporting and narcotic counts per policy</li><li>
Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment</li><li>
Collaborate with team members and participate in care planning</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
✅ Qualifications</h3>
Required:<ul><li>
Minimum 18 years of age</li><li>
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English</li><li>
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with resident mobility</li><li>
Ability to complete accurate documentation</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>
CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or MA (Medical Assistant) certification</li><li>
2+ years of experience in long-term care or healthcare</li><li>
Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
