<div>The Science Teacher will provide the students a comprehensive academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Science curriculum. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position.

Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.</li>
<li>Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.</li>
<li>Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate and complete records of student&rsquo;s progress and development, in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic grade book.</li>
<li>Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom.</li>
</ul>
Position Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree, required.</li>
<li>MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification, required.</li>
<li>Classroom teaching experience, preferred.</li>
<li>Proficient in using a variety of technology.</li>
</ul>

Salary Range: $49,000 - $53,000, Annually
