<h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Direct Patient Care</b></h5>
<ul><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Perform and monitor non-pharmacologic, pharmacologic, and PET stress tests in collaboration with the Nuclear Technologist.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Skills:</b></h5>
<ul><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>IV management (site selection, insertion, removal).</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Recognition of EKG and rhythm abnormalities.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>EKG prep, recording, and preliminary interpretation; report abnormalities to provider.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Monitor/document vital signs.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Identify and respond to adverse reactions under provider guidance.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Provide patient instructions on prep, diet, and medication holds 24&ndash;48 hours prior to testing.</b></h5>
</li></ul></li></ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Professional Duties</b></h5>
<ul><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Maintain current CPR/BLS/ACLS certifications.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Participate in continuing education and maintain competency.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Attend team meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Provide orientation, mentorship, and preceptorship to new team members.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Participate in community education or prevention programs as needed.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Deliver care consistent with current standards, protocols, and ethical guidelines.</b></h5>
</li><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Support the CT service line when needed and assist with staff training and education.</b></h5>
</li></ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications</b></h5>
<div><ul><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.</b></h5>
</li></ul><ul><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Current, unencumbered RN license in the resident state.</b></h5>
</li></ul><ul><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Minimum two (2) years critical care or similar experience required.</b></h5>
</li></ul><ul><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>BLS and ACLS certifications required.</b></h5>
</li></ul><ul><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Successful completion of assigned EKG, stress testing, and cardiology courses within 12 months of hire.</b></h5>
</li></ul><ul><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Effective communication skills.</b></h5>
</li></ul><ul><li><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred: Advanced certification in cardiology/cardiovascular nursing.</b></h5>
