The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Data Scientist to help shape and evolve Care ADHD&rsquo;s analytics and data science capabilities.
Reporting to the Head of Data, this role will play a key part in helping the organisation better understand patient journeys, operational performance, and clinical service effectiveness through advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven insight.
You will work across healthcare, operational, and product datasets to identify trends, develop predictive models, and generate actionable insights that support service improvement and positive patient outcomes.
This role combines hands-on data science, analytics, stakeholder collaboration, and innovation &mdash; with the opportunity to contribute to the future use of AI and advanced analytics within a rapidly growing digital healthcare organisation focused on ADHD care and neurodiversity support.
What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing:<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h2>
Data Science &amp; Advanced Analytics<ul>
<li>
Develop analytical and predictive models using healthcare and operational data</li>
<li>Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and AI techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement</li>
<li>Build models and analytical solutions to support:</li>
<li>Service demand forecasting</li>
<li>Patient engagement analysis</li>
<li>Appointment attendance prediction</li>
<li>Capacity and scheduling optimisation</li>
<li>Patient pathway analysis</li>
<li>Analyse patient journeys across the ADHD care pathway, including:</li>
<li>Referral volumes</li>
<li>Waiting times</li>
<li>Assessment and treatment progression</li>
<li>Patient engagement and retention</li>
<li>Support experimentation, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis to improve service delivery and operational outcomes</li>
</ul>
Healthcare Data Analysis &amp; Insight<ul>
<li>
Work with data from multiple systems including:</li>
<li>Electronic patient records</li>
<li>Referral management platforms</li>
<li>Scheduling systems</li>
<li>CRM platforms</li>
<li>Operational and financial datasets</li>
<li>Generate actionable insights that support:</li>
<li>Clinical services</li>
<li>Operational performance</li>
<li>Service planning</li>
<li>Leadership decision-making</li>
<li>Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for service improvement</li>
<li>Translate complex analytical findings into clear and meaningful recommendations for stakeholders</li>
</ul>
Reporting &amp; Data Visualisation<ul>

Develop dashboards and visualisations using Tableau
</li><li>Deliver reporting solutions that support:</li>
<li>Executive reporting</li>
<li>Operational monitoring</li>
<li>Clinical insight</li>
<li>Patient pathway analytics</li>
<li>Ensure reporting solutions are scalable, accessible, and support self-service analytics</li>
<li>Support continuous improvement of reporting frameworks and analytical outputs</li>
</ul>
Data Management &amp; Quality<ul>
<li>
Work closely with data engineering and platform teams to ensure data is reliable, structured, and accessible</li>
<li>Support development of analytical datasets, data models, and consistent metric definitions</li>
<li>Identify and resolve data quality issues across systems and workflows</li>
<li>Contribute to good practices around:</li>
<li>Data governance</li>
<li>Data quality monitoring</li>
<li>Documentation</li>
<li>Analytical standards</li>
<li>Ensure healthcare data is handled securely and in line with GDPR and governance requirements</li>
</ul>
Stakeholder Collaboration<ul>
<li>
Work closely with:</li>
<li>Clinical teams</li>

<li>Engineering and data teams</li>
<li>Understand business and clinical challenges and translate them into analytical approaches</li>

Contribute to the growth of Care ADHD&rsquo;s data science and analytics capabilities</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to improve how data is collected, analysed, and used across the organisation</li>

What We&rsquo;re Looking For
Education
Degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline such as:<ul>
<li>
Data Science</li>
<li>Statistics</li>
<li>Mathematics</li>
<li>Computer Science</li>
<li>Health Informatics</li>
<li>Economics</li>
<li>Or a related field</li>
</ul>
Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Experience<ul>
<li>
Experience working in a Data Scientist, Senior Data Analyst, or similar analytical role</li>
<li>Experience working with large and complex datasets</li>
<li>Strong experience developing analytical models and generating actionable insights</li>
<li>Experience in healthcare, digital health, SaaS, or regulated environments preferred</li>
<li>Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau</li>
<li>Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational or service improvements</li>
</ul>
Technical Skills
Strong experience with:<ul>

Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.)</li>
<li>SQL and relational databases</li>
<li>Statistical analysis and predictive modelling</li>
<li>Data analysis and data manipulation</li>
