Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated On-Call Dietitian . This role requires providing expert nutrition counseling and support to patients, clients, or residents on an as-needed basis. The On-Call Dietitian will be responsible for assessing clients' nutritional needs, developing personalized nutrition plans, and offering guidance on healthy eating practices to promote overall health and wellness.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Patient Assessments: Conduct nutrition assessments for patients/clients based on medical history, dietary habits, and current health conditions.</li><li>Nutrition Counseling: Provide personalized nutrition counseling and support to individuals and families, tailoring advice to meet the needs of various medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, obesity, dialysis. etc).</li><li>Develop Meal Plans: Create individualized meal plans, taking into account medical conditions, dietary preferences, and cultural considerations.</li><li>Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.</li><li>Education and Training: Educate clients, caregivers, and staff on proper nutrition, food safety, and diet-related disease prevention.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of nutrition assessments, counseling sessions, meal plans, and progress notes.</li><li>On-Call Support: Provide immediate nutritional support for emergency situations, including patient care rounds, dietary changes, and other urgent needs as requested.</li><li>Special Projects: Assist in developing nutrition-related educational materials, health promotion programs, and food service protocols as needed.</li><li>Monitor and Adjust Plans: Track patient progress and adjust nutrition care plans as necessary, ensuring the best outcomes.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field (Master's degree preferred).</li><li>Certification: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.</li><li>Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in a clinical setting, community nutrition, or similar roles.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and evidence-based dietary practices.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li><li>Proficiency in nutrition software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.</li><li>Availability: Must be able to respond promptly to on-call requests and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience in specific areas such as geriatrics, is a plus point</li><li>Bilingual skills</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to lift and carry items</li><li>Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while providing consultation.</li></ul>Compensation and Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience.</li><li>Flexible scheduling with on-call availability.</li></ul>Job Types: Part-time, Contractual / TemporaryContract length: 6 monthsPay: ₹500.00 - ₹800.00 per hourExpected hours: 1 &ndash; 2 per weekSchedule:<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Morning shift</li><li>Weekend availability</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>total work: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In personExpected Start Date: UrgentJob Types: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary, FresherPay: ₹400.00 - ₹800.00 per hour
