MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES &middot; Complete, observe &amp; review care planning needs for Residents, and complete written records as instructed and in line with the policies and procedures.&middot; Answer Nurse call system, giving assistance as required. Answer the door and telephone appropriately. Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptly.&middot; Report on well-being of Residents and liaise with GPs, District Nurses or other health care professional s as required to meet our Residents individual needs.&middot; Carry out regular checks on Residents at intervals determined by their individual care needs.&middot; Make Visitors feel welcome. Provide refreshments/assistance as and when required.&middot; Dispense medication, and ensure correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication (after satisfactory completion of the Safe Handling of Medicines course) and competency assessment. Follow The Old Library&rsquo;s policy and procedure on The safe Handling, receipt, storage and administration of medication&middot; Ensure all holistic assessments are carried out when Residents are admitted to the Old Library e.g. covering nutritional and incontinence issues, risk assessment etc.&middot; Promote and ensure the good reputation of the Old Library.&middot; Ensure that all information of confidential nature gained in the course of duty is maintained under the Data Protection.&middot; Ensure the security of the Old Library Residential Home is maintained at all times.&middot; Adhere to all ppe and infection control policies.Job Types: Full-time, Contract, PermanentPay: Up to &pound;31,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Company pension</li><li>Discounted or free food</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul>Shift:<ul><li>12 hour shift</li></ul>Work Location: In person
