</div></div></div><div><p><b>JOB SUMMARY:</b></p><p>
Prospect Research Analyst reports to the Sr. Director of Fundraising Operations and is responsible for using a variety of sources to determine prospect&rsquo;s giving potential based on assets, philanthropic propensity and historical giving. Analyst responds to general fundraising research requests from all fundraising teams and the Office of the President.</p><p><b>
RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><p><i>
Prospect Research &amp; Fundraiser Support</i></p><ul><li>
Conducts research on current and prospective wealthy individuals primarily in the Principal/Major Gifts audience, with an awareness of Mid-Level, Planned Giving, Corporations and Foundations.</li><li>
Evaluate information gathered from a variety of sources to determine a prospect&rsquo;s financial capacity, propensity to give, philanthropic interests, and relationship to CARE.</li><li>
Write donor/prospect briefings for development teams and/or senior leadership as needed.</li><li>
Do Corporate due diligence/risk assessments for U.S. and International CARE offices who do not have access to their own risk management assessment tools</li><li>
Respond to fundraiser research requests in a timely manner.</li><li><p>
Support Sr. Research Analyst in review of daily gift log information to identify donors ready to move to another channel.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i><br>
Data Entry/ Data Integrity</i></p><ul><li><p>
Input research findings/activity in CRM systems ensuring established operational processes are followed</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i><br>
Special Projects</i></p><ul><li>
Support and sometimes cover for other research positions in times of high volume and do special projects as requested by Sr. Director of Fundraising Operations</li></ul><br>

</div><div><div><div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Qualifications:</b></h3><ul><li><b>Associates or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and minimum of 3 years prospect research experience.</b></li><li><b>Experience using CRM systems, iWave, LexisNexis and/or other prospect research software is required.</b></li><li><b>Excellent written communication skills and a clear, concise writing style are key to this position.
</b></li><li><b>Aptitude with research methods and experience with computers and relational databases.</b></li><li><b>Ability to follow ethical standards, utilize discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.</b></li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></h3><ul><li><b>1 + years of relevant experience in prospect research for in a large nonprofit or higher education setting</b></li><li><b>Experience using Salesforce and/or NPSP</b></li></ul><br>
