What You'll Be Doing:

Hudson Regional Health is hiring per diem Intensvisits. Successful applicants will be outstanding, highly collaborative clinicians, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine with a passion for acute care and a shared commitment to delivering the highest quality care. It will be a mix of shifts in the ICUs and on the Rapid Response Team.</div><div><br>
</div><div></div><div>Treats patients in critical/coronary care unit to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists as necessary.</div><div><br>
</div><div>The successful candidate will be able to demonstrates knowledge and competencies in the following areas:</div><br>

Neurological dysfunction</li><li>
Neuromuscular dysfunction</li><li>
Renal dysfunctional
</li><li>Gastrointestinal dysfunction
</li><li>Hepatic Dysfunction</li><li>
Hematological disorders</li><li>
Oncology disorders</li><li>
Evaluate nutritional support for critical ill patients also with endocrine disorders</li><li>
Patient with trauma or septic illness</li><li>
Interpretation of diagnostic test results</li><li>
Collecting information related to patient and integration in clinical plans</li><li>
Communication with patient&rsquo;s relatives, referring hospital etc.</li><li>
Acute &amp; chronic pain management</li><li>
Pre &amp; post-operative check up</li></ul>
What We're Looking For:
<ul><li>Requires a MD degree from an accredited school.
</li><li>Board Eligible/Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
</li><li>State license or (obtain NJ license) and certification
</li><li>Strong decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Prior experience using eClinicalWorks and/or Meditech preferred</li><li>
Strong teamworking, leadership, and organizational abilities</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
