Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the Social Development department with quality assurance, daytime access, supplies, inventories, identifying and addressing maintenance issues, and supporting a positive dorm culture aligned with the Career Success Standards.
 Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles.</li><li>
Inspects all student dormitory rooms daily, including all common areas (lounges, laundry rooms, bathrooms, stairwells, hallways, utility rooms, and outside surrounding areas).</li><li>
Inventories cleaning, housekeeping, consumable supplies, and residential paperwork forms. Submits requisition orders for maintaining minimum stock levels. Processes supply orders for residential and recreation departments.</li><li>
Inventories, packs, and arranges shipment of former student personal belongings that are left on center after the students depart the program.</li><li>
Helps transport former student personal belongings from the dormitories to the center&rsquo;s shipping and receiving location.</li><li>
Coordinates student linen exchange program with contracted service.</li><li>
Allows students with pre-authorization approval entry into dormitories during the training day.</li><li>
Helps supervise student work details, training day student employees, and student housekeeping chores including training students to complete tasks.</li><li>
Meets with each student, once they arrive on campus, and completes their Residential File paperwork. Goes over the Dorm Norms with each student and provides them a copy.</li><li>
Will actively engage in the SGA by mentoring and training students on Student Government processes, including Roberts Rules of Order, and schedule meetings as required. Will take ownership of the Student Store by keeping inventory and ordering as needed.</li><li>
Provides additional assistance, as department needs are identified, in meeting the goals of the Residential Living areas.</li><li>
Supports the center&rsquo;s behavioral management system through student engagement, reinforcement of center expectations, and modeling appropriate behavior.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Minimum: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: At least one year of experience in education or a similar field, working with students. Model the company Core Values.
Knowledge: Knowledge of methods needed to instill appropriate behavior as well as work and study habits in adolescent students; of housekeeping techniques and management; to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate, and execute instructions or directives fluently in English. Must obtain CPR &amp; 1st aid Certification.</div>

Day Social Development Specialist [Monday-Friday 8am-5pm]

Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assists students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision, behavior modification, and acting as a mentor.</li><li>
Conducts daily safety inspections of assigned area and reports/documents all Facility or Safety related issues.</li><li>
Provides daily supervision or assistance in monitoring students in personal hygiene, room/ chore assignments, recreations activities, cafeteria monitoring, transportation and programmed activities.</li><li>
Ensures that Student Wake up procedures are followed, and that the MAC is signed by each present student (Student Accountability) .</li><li>
Maintains bulletin boards in assigned area with updated student and center information.</li><li>
Organizes, conducts and directs recreation/ non-vocational activities.</li><li>
Facilitates small group discussions in Life Skills, peer mediation, conflict resolution, etc.</li><li>
Provides informal counseling in relation to stress management, personal problems, emergency, or home situations, etc., with students, and provides insight into responsible behaviors and attitudes.</li></ul>

Social Development Specialist [Part-time 20 hours]

<div>Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for enforcing all laws, rules and policies authorized by the Safety and Security Department and supplying transportation services to students and performing general maintenance duties throughout the center.
Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Transports students in company vehicle.</li><li>
Patrols assigned areas and remains alert for disturbances, fires, safety hazards, traffic violators, suspicious acts and/or persons, and other unusual conditions.</li><li>
Aids and assists visitors, students, and staff.</li><li>
Maintains Student Accountability logs for students entering / exiting the center</li><li>
Conducts approved searches and Safety &amp; Health inspections of visitors, staff and students as necessary.</li><li>
Provides escort service as directed.</li><li>
Issues visitor passes and temporary vehicle permits.</li><li>
Transport students by automobile to various vocational sites, medical centers, recreational activities, courts, etc.</li><li>
Inspects vehicles and reports any mechanical issues.</li><li>
May supervise students on various activities, such as recreation, medical appointments, shopping trips, etc.</li><li>
Maintains the cleanliness of all Center vehicles.</li><li>
Attend training as required.</li><li>
May provide temporary coverage in student occupied areas such as the dormitories and recreation areas.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Qualifications:
Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent. Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license and qualify for company sponsored vehicle insurance. Must have or immediately seek CDL/ Passenger bus endorsement.
Preferred: Three to six months&rsquo; experience in a security or work-related capacity, Class B License with passenger/air brake endorsement preferred.
Knowledge: Knowledge of crowd control techniques preferred. Knowledge of law enforcement procedures preferred. Possess a valid state driver&rsquo;s license. Ability to obtain a bus driver&rsquo;s license. Must maintain CPR/FA Certification. Familiarity with problems of underprivileged, minority groups, especially youth. Good writing skills. Excellent communication skills.

Security Officer, Swing (3:00pm-11:30pm) Full-Time, Onsite

<div>Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for all administrative, coordination and clerical duties of the Center Director&rsquo;s Office. Supervises any work experience students assigned to the office.
Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles.</li><li>
Acts as office and communication liaison between the National, Regional, Corporate Offices, partners and the Center Director on routine matters.</li><li>
Coordinates logistical and administrative support for official visitors.</li><li>
Gathers information on performance indicators and prepares useful reports.</li><li>
Performs quality control reviews on all Center reports submitted to the Regional, National and Corporate Offices. Obtains Center Director&rsquo;s approval and signature.
</li><li>Creates monthly CEI Reports.</li><li>
Schedules and coordinates Center Director staff/student meetings, takes minutes and follows up on requests for information.</li><li>
Receives and maintains all Center S.O.P.s. and C.O.P&rsquo;s</li><li>
Performs quality assurance, obtains signatures and submits documents to Corporate Office and Regional Office for approval.</li><li>
Maintains a library of information containing Job Corps publications, Federal Registers, bulletins, news articles, Program Information Notices and Regional Field Issuances.</li><li>
Makes travel arrangements for Center Director and department staff.
</li><li>Performs clerical tasks such as typing letters, maintaining files, demonstrates proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, and other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Creates and maintains Center monthly calendars.</li><li>
Assists in the training of new Administrative Assistants.</li><li>
Attends in-service training sessions.</li><li>

Requirements:

Qualifications:
