<div>Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for all administrative, coordination and clerical duties of the Center Director&rsquo;s Office. Supervises any work experience students assigned to the office.
Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles.</li><li>
Acts as office and communication liaison between the National, Regional, Corporate Offices, partners and the Center Director on routine matters.</li><li>
Coordinates logistical and administrative support for official visitors.</li><li>
Gathers information on performance indicators and prepares useful reports.</li><li>
Performs quality control reviews on all Center reports submitted to the Regional, National and Corporate Offices. Obtains Center Director&rsquo;s approval and signature.
</li><li>Creates monthly CEI Reports.</li><li>
Schedules and coordinates Center Director staff/student meetings, takes minutes and follows up on requests for information.</li><li>
Receives and maintains all Center S.O.P.s. and C.O.P&rsquo;s</li><li>
Performs quality assurance, obtains signatures and submits documents to Corporate Office and Regional Office for approval.</li><li>
Maintains a library of information containing Job Corps publications, Federal Registers, bulletins, news articles, Program Information Notices and Regional Field Issuances.</li><li>
Makes travel arrangements for Center Director and department staff.
</li><li>Performs clerical tasks such as typing letters, maintaining files, demonstrates proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, and other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Creates and maintains Center monthly calendars.</li><li>
Assists in the training of new Administrative Assistants.</li><li>
Attends in-service training sessions.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Qualifications:
Minimum: Must have a High School diploma with at least five year&rsquo;s practical experience. Model company Core Values.
Preferred: Possess a two-year business college degree or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree.
Knowledge: Ability to perform administrative duties without immediate and constant supervision. Ability to type accurately at a fast speed. Ability to take dictation at a fast speed. Proficient in the use of a personal computer; working knowledge of software applications such as Word Perfect, MS Word, Excel. Thorough knowledge of office procedures. Good organizational skills, Ability to deal effectively with the public and government officials. Sound business telephone techniques. Ability to proofread and correct grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors.

Sr Administrative Assistant

<div>Description:

Job Summary: Provides a safe, supportive, and predictable environment in dormitory supervision of Job Corps trainees in their daily activities, monitoring their progress in attaining performance contract goals and objectives and utilizing behavior management and intentional and consistent Core Value driven practices. Conduct dormitory operations in accordance with Center operating policy and procedures and in accordance with CSD Operating Procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assists students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision and acting as a mentor.</li><li>Conducts daily safety inspections of assigned area and reports/documents all Facility or Safety related issues.</li><li>Adheres to all policies and procedures.</li><li>Provides daily supervision or assistance in monitoring students in personal hygiene, room/ chore assignments, recreations activities, cafeteria monitoring, transportation and programmed activities.</li><li>Ensures that students meet required schedule, waking on time and being on time for work or school assignments.</li><li>Maintains bulletin boards in assigned area with updated student and center information.</li><li>Organizes, conducts and directs recreation/ non-vocational activities.</li><li>Supervises Recreation activities on / off center.</li><li>May coach or supervise various sport activities.</li><li>Facilitates small group discussions in Life Skills, peer mediation, conflict resolution, etc.</li><li>Attends required trainings.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Qualifications:
Minimum: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: At least one year of experience in education or a similar field, working with students. Model the company Core Values.
Knowledge: Knowledge of methods needed to instill appropriate behavior as well as work and study habits in adolescent students; of housekeeping techniques and management; to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate, and execute instructions or directives fluently in English. Must obtain CPR &amp; 1st aid Certification</div>
