This role involves performing various sewing tasks using high-end industrial sewing machines, including sewing and finishing materials of different sizes. The ideal candidate is adaptable, open-minded, and eager to embrace new challenges and learn new techniques. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm, but we are looking for someone with the flexibility to work overtime during peak demand periods.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operate various industrial sewing machines to finish and sew various materials.</li><li>Seam materials together, hemming or attaching binding to edges, etc.</li><li>Sew velcro or other accessories to products.</li><li>Utilize various attachments to achieve desired finishes.</li><li>Troubleshoot sewing machine issues as they arise.</li><li>Operate a grommet machine</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Comfortable reading a tape measure.</li><li>Capable of sitting, standing, and walking for 8-10 hours.</li><li>Able to withstand repetitive movements during a shift.</li><li>Able to understand work order requirements.</li><li>Willing to work overtime when needed.</li><li>Responsible, reliable, and self-motivated.</li><li>Sewing experience is required, industrial sewing is preferred.</li><li>Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Committed to achieving and maintaining quality and production standards.</li><li>Willing to participate in and support any improvement activities.</li><li>Pleasant and professional communication skills.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds regularly</li><li>Regularly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers (pulling, pushing, grabbing, pinching)</li></ul>.Other Information:<ul><li>Climate controlled environment</li><li>Bonus opportunities</li><li>Paid lunch</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>And much more!</li></ul>Carl&rsquo;s Place is an equal opportunity employer and adheres to EEO guidelines to provide employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
