Due to firm growth, we are looking for a Senior Auditor who can collaborate with the team, deliver high-quality workpapers, and build strong client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who&rsquo;s detail-driven, proactive, and ready to mentor staff while staying hands-on in the audit process. What type of work would you do:
<ul>
<li>Plan and help facilitate engagements to meet budget and client expectations</li>
<li>Evaluate clients&rsquo; internal controls and determine the extent of testing required in an audit</li>
<li>Review and perform substantive testing on client&rsquo;s balance sheets and income statements</li>
<li>Provide exceptional service to clients by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to understanding their goals and needs</li>
<li>Audit complex areas and transactions and prepare client deliverable reports</li>
<li>Exhibit solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, quality management standards and technology implementation procedures relative to individual client assignments</li>
<li>Identify and communicate audit issues, technical matters and improvement opportunities to managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during the audit process</li>
<li>Demonstrate technical skills, general industry knowledge and knowledge of the firm&rsquo;s capabilities</li>
<li>Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct</li>
<li>Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with client&rsquo;s staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships</li>
<li>Perform compilation, review, and audit engagements</li>
<li>Review and prepare client work papers, reports, financial statement drafts and letters of recommendations</li></ul> 


You are the right fit if you have the following:
<ul>
<li>BA/BS in Accounting or Related Field</li>
<li>2+ years of similar experience in a CPA firm</li>
<li>CPA license or in process to obtain</li>
<li>You have experience with accounting software systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Thomson Reuters products) and are proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)</li>
<li>Strong technical, analytical and organizational skills</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>High level of organization, focus, and exceptional attention to detail</li></ul> 


Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand or sit for extended periods of time, as well as type/enter data at a keyboard regularly
