We also maintain our own fleet of trucks, trailers and equipment. We&rsquo;re looking for a skilled Tractor-Trailer Mechanic to join our team and help keep vehicles on the road safely and efficiently.Job Summary<ul><li>Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems on tractor-trailers and semi-trucks</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance, including inspections, oil changes, tire work, and DOT compliance checks</li><li>Troubleshoot and fix issues with suspension, axles, lighting, and other trailer components</li><li>Weld and fabricate as needed for repairs</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment while documenting all service work in Fullbay software.</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on tractor-trailers, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, hydraulics, and electrical systems.</li><li>Conduct repairs and maintenance using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized machinery.</li><li>Service heavy equipment such as payloaders, large forklifts, farm machinery and other company owned equipment to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving air brakes, alignments, shocks &amp; struts, HVAC systems, and diesel engines.</li><li>Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed on all vehicles and equipment via Fullbay shop software.</li><li>Assist with tire service, wheel alignments, hydraulic repairs, and general vehicle maintenance to uphold safety standards.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Experience as a diesel or tractor-trailer mechanic (2+ years preferred)</li><li>Strong knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy-duty equipment</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a small team</li><li>Own basic hand and power tools (several shop tools provided)</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus)</li><li>Ability to lift heavy parts and stand/bend for long periods</li></ul>Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
