Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong understanding of IT software development, specialising in Government IT Projects, to spearhead CARMA Media Insights&rsquo; expansion in this critical sector throughout the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing company sales by securing new government projects and expanding business opportunities.
The role involves identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities with government entities throughout the UAE, leveraging strong knowledge of government IT initiatives and public-sector procurement processes.
Role &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>
Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities with UAE government and semi-government entities</li><li>
Represent and promote CARMA Media Insights&rsquo; software development, system integration, and IT outsourcing services</li><li>
Leverage the company&rsquo;s existing project portfolio and government experience to win new contracts</li><li>
Build and maintain strong relationships with government decision-makers, procurement teams, and key stakeholders</li><li>
Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation, meetings, solution presentations, proposal preparation, negotiations, and contract closure</li><li>
Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure accurate solution positioning and scope definition</li><li>
Track government tenders, RFPs, and RFQs, and lead the response and submission process</li><li>
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue objectives</li></ul> 

Requirements 
<ul><li>
Proven experience in IT sales or business development</li><li>
Strong experience dealing with UAE government entities</li><li>
Solid understanding of software development projects, government systems, and IT outsourcing models</li><li>
Proven ability to secure government contracts and long-term projects</li><li>
Excellent communication in both English as wel as Arabic, negotiation, and relationship-building skills</li><li>
Existing government network in the UAE is a strong advantage</li><li>
Knowledge of UAE government procurement and tendering processes</li><li>
Ability to convert technical solutions into clear business value</li><li>
Strategic, results-driven, and growth-oriented mindset</li></ul></div>
