 Responsible for all logistical and operational strategies, development, project planning and deployments, and resource staffing for assigned turnaround ports. Manages service providers, day to day operations, set policies and processes, quality of service, project deployment efforts and business process re-engineering to maximize guest services and productivity.
 
 
 
 Essential Functions:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Evaluates, establishes and implements all logistical and operational needs for assigned turnaround ports, to include day-to-day pier operations and check-in, if applicable at homeport airport. Collaborate with respective service providers, shipboard management, port personnel and local officials to support and manage all aspects of turnaround day. Works closely with service providers to support and maintain operational requirements, quality assurance strategies and communications that outline and support department policies, procedures and set standards, and comply with data privacy, information security, ADA, ethics, port and government regulations and safety standards. Monitors the quality of service being provided to ensure optimal quality service and guest satisfaction. Works closely with Q.A. Manager to identify and address any procedural inadequacies or potential problems and takes corrective actions and implements cost effective solutions. Monitor and review incident reports, daily metrics, productivity reports, cash transaction reports, turnaround reports to address deficiencies. Creates game plans for special sailings and functions, dry-docks, irregular operations and the start-up of seasonal or new turnaround ports. Works with service provider and Influences decisions related to promotions and firing of person.

 Leads by example and promotes Carnival&rsquo;s Culture Essentials and Values while mentoring the service provider&rsquo;s management team to support and inspire strong leadership, sound decision making, effective communication, adherence to policies and set standards, and a strong commitment to excellence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborates with IT and System Support team on system and equipment port needs; monitors effectiveness of systems that support turnaround day, reports any system issues timely, follows up and makes necessary operational adjustments to minimize negative impact to service. Coordinates proper and timely loading of voyage required for charters and special sailings to include irregular operations and dry-docks

 Performs periodic site visits to evaluate assigned turnaround port, and where applicable, airport check-in operations and the quality of service being provided at these locations. Provides on-site support, as needed, during special sailings, project deployments, dry-docks, and irregular operations for respective ports or were assigned by director of department. Documents site visits and follow up to address any deficiencies

 Creates understanding and positive image of department&rsquo;s objectives and issues by building and maintaining strong relationships with service providers, vendors, key in-house departments, governmental agencies and respective port officials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors TGEM scores, guest comments and embarkation dashboard monthly for respective ports; shares information with service providers, reviews trends, documents and addresses deficiencies. Brings critical issues to Sr. Director for review and resolution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Port Operations and Port Personnel to ensure terminal facilities are operating to specifications, meeting set standards and business needs; documents issues and follows through with respective parties for resolution
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborates with the Sr. Director and QA Manager to create and adjust staffing levels for respective ports and ensures that required man-hours are being met consistently by service provider each sailing. Monitors service levels and provides recommendations for changes or adjustment of staffing levels, always keeping financial and service goals at the forefront.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborates to achieve department financial objectives by assisting with preparation of respective ports budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances, recommending and initiating corrective actions to meet goals and help reduce costs. Reviews and approves embarkation invoices weekly and timely
 </li>
 <li>
 Research, updates and maintains all online and written visa travel requirements for new and existing ports by collaborating with respective stakeholders and communication teams.

 Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:

 Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal; Work effectively in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines; Able to analyze and resolve issues independently; Requires strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills; Experience in quality assurance is a plus; Must be available to work weekends, after-hours, and on short notice

 Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities. May need to stand for long periods of time.
 
 
 This position is classified as &ldquo;remote.&rdquo; As a remote role, it allows employees to work full-time from their home. As a remote role, it allows employees to work full-time from their home. It may also require regular travel to Carnival headquarters in Miami, FL for in-office collaboration and travel to assigned terminals in Tampa or Orlando. Manager, Guest Port Service

<div>The GCS - Security Architecture function is responsible for the development of technical security design specifications, integration specifications, standards, requirements, and implementation of appropriate technology architectures to mitigate risks to Carnival Corp and customer information assets. This position will work with all global brands as a project resource providing guidance and signing off on project implementations, firewall change requests and provide general guidance on Cybersecurity best practices. 
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Work with brand IT teams and/or Business stakeholders on their projects to ensure that new systems and/or applications meet security best practices, published minimum security requirements, corporate standards, and policies.</li><li>
Provide security architecture and consulting services to business units and IT/OT-Maritime organizations.</li><li>
Research, test and implement security tools to scan, monitor and protect computing and networking environments.</li><li>
Document and transition security tools to security operations teams.</li><li>
Review network designs, applications data flows, system integrations and provide appropriate signoff</li><li>
Create high level network designs for GCS security tools and reference architectures documentation</li><li>
Review system design of existing applications/systems utilizing a common framework to identify potential vulnerabilities and gaps in the system, helping to mitigate cyber risks and protect sensitive data by proactively addressing potential threats before they can be exploited.</li><li>
Build, support and mature GCS security tools and architectural review process</li><li>
Develop hardening standards for networking and computing environments using industry best practices.</li></ul> 
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:<ul><li>
Scope: Experience in Security Architecture, designing secure systems and architectures that can withstand cyber threats. Ability to communicate Cyber security architecture in non-technical terms to business stakeholders. Understanding of AI related Cybersecurity risks. Understanding of OT (Operational Technology) Cybersecurity risks.</li><li>
Problem solving: Creating, evaluating, and managing security architectures that align with business goals. Translating technical needs for stakeholders to resolve conflicts and gain agreement on solutions that align with Cybersecurity best practices and enterprise Standards and Policies.</li><li>
Impact: Contribute to technical designs that enforce secure, resilient, and compliant technology infrastructures that protect critical data.</li></ul> 
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security (Master's degree a plus). Recognized industry Cybersecurity Certifications such as CISSP.</li><li>
Cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP) security and design. Application/Web/API/Container Security. Extensive knowledge of Windows, Linux, Network and Cloud Security and Cybersecurity best practices. Understanding of IAM and Least Privileged access models.</li><li>
5+ Cyber Security in Large Enterprise setting</li><li>
Solid understanding of Cybersecurity risks in architectural designs and recommending mitigating controls. Key experience should includes cloud security (Azure/AWS/GCP), identity and access management (IAM), network segmentation, encryption, threat modeling within Enterprise IT and OT environments. Strong communication and strategic leadership skills are vital for aligning security with business goals.</li></ul>
