<b>
Essential Functions:</b></div>
<ul><li>Performs diversified accounting and auditing assignments under the direction of supervisor and manager</li>
<li>Participates in planning and scheduling client engagements</li>
<li>Prepares and indexes working papers; performs various procedures established under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to verify accuracy and validity of client&rsquo;s financial matters</li>
<li>Begins to develop a command of GAAP, other comprehensive bases of accounting, unique or specialized accounting principles, and financial statement presentations</li>
<li>Obtains a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques</li>
<li>Effectively communicates with client to receive information necessary to complete the engagement with a minimum of disruption to client</li>
</ul><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>Meets all requirements to sit for CPA exam
<ul><li>Those possessing CPA certification will be given preference</li>
</ul></li><li>Minimum of 5 years in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks as well as having in charged engagements</li>
<li>Proficiency in accounting software</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Strong organizational and analytical abilities</li>
<li>Ability to work well in a team environment</li>
<li>Experience in the following industries a plus: Government and Not-For-Profit</li>

<div><b>Essential Functions:</b></div>
<ul><li>In addition to traditional administrative support, this individual will be responsible for functions associated with the servicing of clients through:
<ul><li>Generation of correspondence</li>
<li>Data entry</li>
<li>File maintenance</li>
<li>Other duties as requested or needed to maintain the efficient processing of documents and communications within the firm's internal operations.</li>
</ul></li></ul><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>3+ years of experience</li>
<li>Experience in a CPA Firm environment preferred</li>
<li>Ability to work overtime January through April and during peak seasons</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)</li>
<li>Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along well with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, and flexible.</li>
<li>Ability to operate independently and self-manage projects.</li>
<li>Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
</li><li>Sound administrative skills. Well-developed management skills.</li>
<li>Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but able to recognize and support the Partners&rsquo; preferences and priorities.</li>
<li>Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
